MUHS Declared MBBS Results on Time amid COVID-19 pandemic, Check Details Here


Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) declared its results on the very same day after conducting the practicals on October 2, 2020. 

This year, the MUHS MBBS final year examinations were conducted in exceptional conditions due to Covid-19 Pandemic. 

The exams were held in a limited period of time between September 8 and September 21, 2020. On October 2, practicals were conducted and late in the evening, the results for the MBBS final year examinations were released. 

The controller of examination at MUHS, Dr. Ajit Pathak, stated the results were announced under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Deelip Mhaisekar.

As a consequence of which, there are 513 fresh doctors available to treat the Covid-19 affected patients in the medical colleges across the state, he said. 

The MBBS pass-out interns are now treating the Covid-19 affected patients, as Frontline warriors in Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, and various other districts in the state. They were appreciated and awarded with cash incentives by the municipal corporation and district administration of Pune and Mumbai. However, interns at Nagpur medical colleges still get a fixed amount of stipend. 

Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) will register the fresh pass-out MBBS candidates as Medical Practitioners in the online process, as they complete a year of internship.
