Mumbai University: Semester End Exams Expected to be Held in December 2020 for All Streams in Online Mode


The semester end examination at Mumbai University will be held in December 2020 for all streams in online mode. The schedule of the examination would be announced at the official website of Mumbai University soon.

Mumbai University will be conducting the semester end examination for arts, science, and commerce streams through online mode amid pandemic situation and looking at the students safety concerns.

A total of 25 multiple choice questions would be asked in the examination which will be conducted in December 2020.

For all the courses, Mumbai University will keep digital supervision during the exams and cases of malpractices would be dealt strictly.

The Mumbai University will be appointing vigilance squads to oversee the online end semester examination. 

The University official stated that these squads would be asked to visit the colleges and request for photos or video footage of students taking examinations.

This year, for the final year students, the fifth semester examination would be decentralized and conducted at college level for convenience.

The exams at Mumbai University for first and second year would be decentralized as usual and the question will be high in difficulty level, the university official stated.

Different exam pattern is to be framed for professional courses such as engineering and law for the end semester examination at Mumbai University.

The end semester examination at Mumbai University would begin for second and third year students and examination would be conducted for first year students at the end of the session.

The Revaluation process is to be skipped by the Mumbai University because the exams are to be conducted in MCQ format. The final decision regarding the end semester examination would be taken by the Board of Examination.
