National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released the revised schedule for the second round of counselling for all courses. As per the latest schedule, the last date of registration for second round counselling is delayed by a day from October 9 to October 15, 2020.
The National level entrance exam is the key to get admission into NIFT. The Entrance exam took place on January 19, 2020, and the result for NIFT 2020 was released after the General ability test, creative ability test and interview. The results were published via online mode on 13th March 2020.
Earlier, NIFT declared the 2nd and Last round for Online Process on October 1, 2020. Candidates who have taken the Admission while 1st round of counselling, will be allotted a seat on the basis of merit secured.

Further, the counselling dates for all design courses offered will be declared on October 15, 2020, over the official website: www.nift.ac.in.

NIFT 2020: How to Register
Candidates are advised to follow the easy steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of NIFT 2020 Admission
- Register for the second round of counselling for NIFT 2020
- Verify your details filled and upload the documents
- Pay the Admission fee via Net banking/ Debit card or Credit card
- Once the payment is verified, the portal will allow you to save the application.
- An email will be sent through registered email address for joining the Zoom meeting
At the time of counselling, document verification of the candidates is also done. Candidates have to submit the below-listed documents certificate verification:
- 10th and 12th Mark sheet
- 10th and 12th Pass certificate
- Passport sizes photographs
- Category certificate
- Medical Certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Bank Draft
- Affidavit of provisional admission
- Provisional call letter
The Non-Refundable fee for the 2nd round of Counselling is INR 5,000. The committee does not consider the payment via IMPS and NEFT. If the candidates are not allotted a seat after the 2nd round of Counselling then the Institutions will refund the money as per their conditions.
