NIFT Admission 2020: Applicants with J&K/ Ladakh Domicile Invited for B.Des Programme; Check Here: Eligibility Criteria, Application Form, Admit Card

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has invited applications from candidates with J&K and Ladakh Domicile for admission into Bachelor of Design (BDes) course.

Candidates interested in securing admission in the B.Design course at NIFT Srinagar will be required to appear for the NIFT entrance exam which is scheduled to be conducted on September 20 at NIFT, Srinagar.

The merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) examination.

NIFT Srinagar B.Design Category Wise Seat Allotment 2020

A total of 42 seats are available for the B.Design course at NIFT. Candidates can check the category wise seat allotment from the table mentioned below.

NIFT Srinagar B.Design 2020: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates are required to meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for applying for the B.Design course.

• Completed Class 12level (in the 10+2 pattern of examination) from any recognised central or state board

• Cleared General Certificate Education (GCE) Exam (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB)

• Studied at any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries which are recognised by the Association of Indian Universities to be equivalent to 10+2 system

• Secured a passing grade in Senior Secondary School Examination which is conducted by the National Open School having at least five subjects

• Possess a three or four-year diploma which is recognised by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education

• Age Limit: Minimum age of the candidate should be 23 years as on August 1, 2020. However, age relaxation of 5 years has been given to SC/ST and PwD category students.
