National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal will be conducting a one-day awareness program to resolve the queries of students and parents on JOSAA counseling for admission on Oct 4, 2020, from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.
This program at NIT Warangal is an informative session and it covers all the aspects of JOSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) procedures so that students will be well prepared for the counseling.
Many students do not come well prepared with the required documents for reporting and they lose opportunities because of minor mistakes in the filling of online forms. This program creates awareness among students belonging to rural areas and help them to be well prepared for counseling
Director of NIT Warangal, Prof NV Raman Rao will be addressing the program initially and the Deans, Heads of the Department and various faculty in charge for admission, placement, and hostel will be available to explain all the details and to clear the queries of parents and students.
Apart from JOSAA, there will be an informative session about NIT Warangal which gives a brief overview on Academic programs, Research, Infrastructural facilities, Hostels & Messes, Placements, Sports, Co-curricular activities like clubs and college festivals.
A visit to the department is scheduled in the afternoon, where parents and students could interact with faculty members, and visit laboratories so that they could get first hand information on their choice of engineering.

- Inauguration and welcome
- Information session on JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) for admissions into undergraduate (B.Tech) programs of NITs and IITs.
- Tea Break
- Information session on NIT Warangal which includes details related to Academic Programs, Research, Infrastructural facilities, Hostels and Messes, Placements, Sports and Games, Co-curricular activities: clubs, festivals.
- Question and answers session
- Lunch break: 1-2:30 PM
- Visit to departments, Interaction with faculty, and visit laboratories: 2:30-5:00PM
