NTA Unlikely to Reduce JEE Main 2021 Syllabus: Read Details Here


NTA (National Testing Agency) is not planning to decrease the syllabus of JEE Main 2021 despite CBSE, ISC, and other state boards reducing the syllabus of Class 12th by 30% as per the sources. 

Additionally, NTA is going to release the exam date for JEE Main January 2021 soon. Speculations are ongoing among students related to the exam date and syllabus. There are higher chances that NTA may hold the January 2021 exam in the last week of February or mid-March.

Apart from this, only a few states' boards have confirmed the syllabus cut for Class 12th till now for the academic session 2020-21. As NTA considers the syllabus of all state boards, there are few chances that JEE Main 2021 Syllabus may be reduced. 

However, if all states across the country decide to cut down their syllabus, then NTA may consider reducing the syllabus for JEE Main 2021.

In addition, NTA is considering certain factors that some of the topics included in the syllabus of JEE Main 2021 are crucial for students enrolling for B.Tech. Although, most of the boards like CBSE/ ISC removed specific subtopics in different chapters and not the whole chapter. 

In such cases, there will not be a primary change in the JEE Main 2021 Syllabus.
