OJEE 2020 Application extended till 31st July, Check new online exam centres added

Closing date for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination for 2020 has been further extended till July 31, 2020. As per the new improvement, students will be able to make online payments till August 5 for their OJEE 2020 application form.

For OJEE 2020, the authority has added online exam centres in 5 new cities of India. This adds to a total of 15 nationwide online exam centres for OJEE.

OJEE 2020 Application Date Extended: Application, Correction and Payment

Earlier, the application was to be closed by 25 July and payment by July 31. Students who had earlier applied for OJEE 2020 can modify their choices now. 

They need to make changes from the official website of OJEE by July 31. Additionally applicants who intend to change their exam centres to the nearest city or town and do it from July 24-31.

As COVID-19 has created havoc, the examination has been considerably delayed and is expected to be held after completion of JEE Mains 2020, scheduled for September 1-6.

New cities added to OJEE Exam Centre list

On Saturday (25 July 2020), the OJEE Board added 5 cities of Baripada, Jeypore, Bargarh, Angul and Keonjhar to the existing list of exam centres.

As per OJEE officials, during the COVID-19 pandemic, travelling to far off places is troublesome. Hence exam centres have been added in nearby cities and towns for the ease of students in commuting. 

Usually every year, students travel to big cities to appear for OJEE. however, this alternative decision will cut down travel time for students and also reduce pressure on exam centres in cities.
