Pune University Online Class Model: Boon for Students Across Maharashtra; Promises to Support Less Bandwidth

Savitrabhai Phule Pune University launched an online education classes model, which can now be applied by other state universities of India.

Implementing the Moodle Courses Management System, SPPU has developed a certain video format that can be streamed by students even with lower bandwidth along with easier sharing features.

Given the pandemic situation, online education is the new normal. Several recorded lectures of teachers have been uploaded as lecture modules.apart from videos, Pune University also created interactive sessions.

These included quizzes and tests at the end of each lecture video before moving onto the next.  This ensures students absorb maximum information and not simply glare at the videos.
