Tezpur University Releases Common Rank Lists for PG Programmes; Check @tezu.ernet.in

Tezpur University, Assam has released the common rank lists for various Postgraduate courses including M.Tech. and M.Com. on September 28, Monday on its official website. 

In the wake of COVID, Tezpur University canceled its entrance exam, the Tezpur University Entrance Exam (TUEE). Therefore, this year the admission process is based on merit; marks of the last qualifying exam i.e. UG course last semester. The college has released the list for the following PG courses.

Tezpur University Common Rank List: Steps to Check the List

The common rank list is available on the official website of the University. The following steps should be followed to check the list:

• Visit the official website of the University tezuadmissions.in/public/.
• On the right-hand side of the screen, under ‘Latest News and Updates” click on the common rank list for the course you are aspiring for.
• Check the rank list.
• Download it and take a print out for future reference.

After the candidate’s name appears on the list, he/she is eligible for the counseling session at a specified date. If a student misses the counseling session, his seat will be offered to the next student. Following the counseling session, the candidate will have to verify & submit their original documents and will also have to pay the first semester fees to confirm their seat in the course applied for.

Established in 1994, Tezpur University is a pioneer University that offers and encourages local aspirants to prosper in the future. It aims at the development of Assam regions and the enhancement of the research work in various fields.

The University offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses like B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Master of Computer Application, M.Tech in Information Technology, M.A in Cultural Studies, M.A in Mass Communication and Journalism, MSc courses with various specializations, M.Com, various integrated courses, and many other courses. 

Earlier Tezpur University partnered with UNICEF to think and implement reforms related to the various problems faced in North East India. The collaborative project was named as 'Centre for Public Policy and Governance (CPPG)’.

The policy will work with a dedicated team from various departments to provide research and knowledge in public policy, governance, framework, and plans in the form of various books and journals. This will improve the overall development of Assam.
