TN Govt: IIT JEE Candidates to be Trained through Digital Medium


According to a recent notification, the government of Tamil Nadu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NextGen Private Limited to provide training to IIT JEE candidates through a digital platform on December 15, 2020. 

According to the MoU, NextGen Private Limited will be providing training to IIT JEE candidates from government and aided schools in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu Government has previously conducted coaching for NEET for medical aspirants from such institutions as a result of which this move was implemented.

A Government official stated that as per the MoU signed with NextGen Private Limited, candidates from Government and Aided schools of Tamil Nadu will be groomed virtually for free of cost. 

The virtual training is scheduled to commence from January 4, 2021, and candidates interested could register themselves from December 21 to 31, 2020.

School Education Minister, K A Sengottaiyan was present while signing the MoU. NextGen Private Limited will be offering training in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

The official press release stated that candidates who have registered for the training program will be provided a unique login ID and password to learn the lessons. Teachers, Coordinators, and headmasters will be provided access to supervise the performance of the students.
