Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai has released the rank list for B.Tech admission today, i.e. August 5, 2020. B. Tech rank list will include details of candidates such as candidates’ names, based on merit for admission to B.Tech programs.

How to Check VIT B.Tech Rank List 2020?
- VIT will send the login procedure to check B.Tech rank list for 2020 admissions.
- Candidates will receive their login credentials on the registered mobile number and email address to access results on the rank list.
- This list will have ranks for candidates to apply for VIT B.Tech 2020 admission.

VIT 2020: Changes in Application Process
As earlier announced by the institute, VITEEE had been cancelled in wake of COVID-19 pandemic situation. As a fact, VIT will announce a rank list based on Class 12 merit in PCB or PCM category.
The students were allowed to register online with entering marks of Class 12 boards, which is the qualifying exam, this year. The last date for online application was July 31, 2020.
Meanwhile, VIT signed MoU with KU Leuven to periodically invite faculty of this globally ranked college as adjunct faculty of VIT to impart special training to the students.
The release of rank list will be followed by an announcement of VITEEE ranks for the candidates. Candidates thus selected, will have to take part in the counselling process for VIT B.Tech Admission 2020. This round will include document verification, followed by requisite fee payment in order to confirm their seats.
