VTU had announced that offline examinations will be conducted for final semester students as well as students who have backlogs in their exams, for which the university had opened an application portal in online mode.

Students were given passwords to log in and apply for the respective examinations instead of having to visit the campus. However, the servers have been crashing throughout making it practically impossible for some students to complete the application process.

According to students, the problems they are facing with the server include disappearing of the student’s name or college name from the application portal. Some students have also complained that the password provided to them is incorrect.

Although most of the problems have been solved by now, the university is making sure to eliminate any remaining errors within the next few days.
