The admission process of LNCT is easy and hassle-free. The admissions are generally done based on the JEE scores and also through the management quota. 

You will have to fill in your preferences during the round of counseling and then you will be allotted your branch and seats according to your JEE scores. And then college-level counseling is done for the remaining number of seats. 

There is also another option to get admission to this college through the management quota. To get admission through this process you will have to pay an amount for a seat of any branch of your choice.

Following the announcement of the JEE Main results, you must visit the MPOnline official website to know when the Counselling Registration Forms will be available.

When the forms are out, all you have to do is fill it with as many preferred colleges in the M.P. Region as you want.

And if your name appears on the list alongside the college to which you have been assigned, LNCT, then you are selected. Go to the college and finish the rest of the paperwork and admissions process. And that's all there is to it.

If you are considering doing an EEE from anywhere in Bhopal, please reconsider. Be it LNCT or OIST or RGPV, none of them provide you with good opportunities that you may push your career forward.

The syllabus of EEE is very vast and hard to grasp. It is considered one of the toughest branches. One of my friends opted for it and she thinks that it was a big mistake.

Getting good grades with just an average amount of studies sounds like a dream because if you are not willing to work hard, this branch is not for you. 

Most of the students like my friend accepted a career outside of their branch. Though it is somewhat disheartening for EEE students to get jobs in their core fields, even after investing 4 years in them. Most of them ended up in corporate houses or IT firms, doing technical jobs.

There are hostel facilities available for First-year students and it is comparatively superior to all colleges in the city. LNCT has a reputation for having a good discipline, this helps them to maintain a superior quality of education too. You can see the same discipline in the Hostel facility and it makes up for a very good environment to be productive.

The Hostel has rules and regulations of its own for you to follow. The facility is optional. You may or may not choose to live on campus. You need to follow the rules and not damage any property, it will be a smooth sail for you then. The campus also follows a strict anti-ragging policy so your stay is safe.

There are various facilities available if you choose to live on campus:

• The mess serves 4 meals a day with a slight variation in the menu. You can avail these meals complimentary with your accommodation.
• There is a TV room for entertainment purposes
• There is a reading room for students to work together in groups and also do some light reading or studying
• You can play Table tennis, badminton, football, Cricket in the TT room or on the ground.
• There is a gym too but you will be charged extra if you choose to sign up for it.

You should definitely choose to live on campus because you will find the best people there and make friends for a lifetime. Also, making memories while you are still in college is still something we all want.

Among the state private engineering colleges, LNCT is ranked first in every category. In terms of college, the campus is nice, and the infrastructure is good (as per state colleges).

Perks: 

• The college atmosphere is often positive. Classes are held on a regular basis, and there is strong discipline.
• The placement scenario is excellent especially for CS, IT, and EC.
• Wipro, Infosys, and cognizant are among the companies that recruit students from LNCT. These companies specialize in mass recruitment. These companies offered annual packages ranging from 3 to 3.5 lakhs.
• Many small telecommunications companies also recruit at colleges. The package offered is around 3 lakhs.
• In LNCT, students mostly study CS, IT, and EC. Given that it is an RGPV college, one can expect additional study-level parameters.

Disadvantages: 

• The need for 75% attendance for good session grades is inconvenient.
• It becomes more like a school with a higher attendance percentage.
• Other competitive tests (if desired) cannot be prepared for till the third year. For good grades, attendance is important.

These are a few factors that you need to keep in mind if you are considering joining LNCT. 

LNCT Bhopal is one of the most popular and reputed colleges in our country and the rules and regulations of this college are very strict. 

The class timing for freshers is from 9 AM till 3:30 PM. The first-year students are not allowed to leave the college for half-day and if there is something serious then you can get a gate pass from your HOD by explaining your reason after which you will be allowed to exit the college. 

But from the second year onwards you will get a break from 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM so you can relax and spend some time with your friends.

Yes, the institution does have an NGO which goes by the name” Rahat: Be the change-maker”. This NGO is operational under the supervision of LNCT Bhopal and the students that are enrolled in one of the courses offered by the institute. 

• The primary goal of this NGO is to educate the children who are residing in orphanages. 
• This initiative by the NGO gives the orphan children a chance to feel special and happy. 
• They help in reminding these children that they are equally a part of the world as everyone else. 
• The workers of the NGO treat these children like they all belong to a family. 
• The enrolled students at LNCT who volunteer for the selfless services that are required by the NGO are doing an amazing job. 
• It is requested that if you are joining the institute then please be a part of this NGO for a good cause.
