Which one is better- IMT Nagpur or IMT Hyderabad keeping all the parameters like placement, faculty, e.t.c. in mind?

IMT is indeed a brand name but unfortunately, the brand's credibility is applicable only to IMT Ghaziabad. The other campuses carry very little brand worth and legacy of IMT. If there is an IMT that is slightly near to comparison then it is IMT Hyderabad. The other campuses are new and lack recognition. IMT Hyderabad campus is visited by some extremely reputed local companies thereby offering better placement opportunities.

Some institutes that give an edge to IMT Hyderabad in Hyderabad itself are

ASB (Ashoka School of Business) Hyderabad,
NMIMS
SIBM
Hyderabad Business School

ASB offers dual specialization and good placement at only INR 6.9 Lacs. The ROI period is only around a year.

Among IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad, the former is better in terms of alumni, placements, faculty, and other factors.

IMT Nagpur is the second oldest campus of IMT family, hence it has a larger alumni base. Alumni of the college are in the big leagues of MNCs as well as start-ups.
The placement statistics of IMT Nagpur are better than IMT Hyderabad. In the 2022 placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered were 9.6 LPA and 23.57 LPA respectively. The job profiles offered at IMT Nagpur are more varied, because of the huge alumni base.
The faculties of both these campuses have immense industry and teaching experience. At IIM Nagpur you will get to learn from faculties who have been a part of the three IIMs, even Harvard at some point in time.
The campus culture of IMT Nagpur is completely student-driven.

In terms of location, the Hyderabad campus has an advantage since it is located 13km closer to the city. However, IMT Nagpur makes up for the location factor in terms of quality of education and ROI.

I can surely answer IMT Nagpur because my brother has been studying there for a year now. The facilities at IMT Nagpur are better than IMT Hyderabad. Here’s why:

The transportation facilities are better at IMT Nagpur. There is a direct highway to the city right outside the college campus.
At IMT Nagpur, the Learning Resource Center (LRC) – the library is another discussion hall.
It is open till 4 am while at IMT Hyderabad, it closes at 8 pm.
You will experience a better hostel life at IMT Nagpur. There are no restrictions and rules for entering the hostel late and hence you can easily do your group assignments or projects. You will not experience this at IMT Hyderabad.
At IMT Nagpur, forums and meetings can be conducted almost in any tier of classrooms or halls because it is a student-driven campus.
IMT Nagpur professors are well-qualified and have more than 34 years of professional experience.
IMT Nagpur has better placement records than IMT Hyderabad.
