Which is better for IT and CS, NIT Patna or IIIT Allahabad?

As one of my close friends studied in the computer science department at NIT Patna, I can say that it is not at the same level as that of IIIT Allahabad. IIIT Allahabad is much more effective compared to NIT. Having studied at IIIT Allahabad, let me give you some facts as to why it stands out.

• IIIT Allahabad focuses on programming languages extremely well for those who are planning to master this field.
• Many MNCs also hire students from IIIT Allahabad. Many top global companies like Facebook and Google hire young students for their talent. You will probably not find these opportunities at NIT Patna.
• Moreover, IIIT Allahabad also has a really big 100-acre campus with 24/7 lab facilities. Compared to this, Patna is quite small.
• If you are staying in the hostel, the facilities there are good too.
• Lastly, if you are into sports, these facilities are not available at NIT Patna as compared to IIIT Allahabad.

IIIT Allahabad has been very well known for its active coding culture and many competitive coding opportunities, hackathons and tech events. So, if you are planning to go for Computer Science and IT, you should go with IIIT Allahabad as compared to NIT Patna.
