What is the suggested percentile for Thapar University CSE?

Usually, the required cutoff for CSE remains above 97 percentile. Getting admission is easier if you are from Panjab. Students from Panjab domicile get some relaxation. However, it doesn’t usually go below 95 percentile.

Thapar University takes admission based on JEE Main scores. If you are a general category student then you need around 97 percentile in JEE Main to secure admission for CSE at the institute.
This is for the students who are from outside the Punjab region. Some relaxation is given to the students who have a Punjab domicile certificate. For students from Punjab, the cutoff is considerably lower but it won’t be below 96 percentile. It’s a tad bit easier to get into Thapar University CSE department if you belong from Punjab due to the reserved seats.
