It's a much sought-after degree at Vignan University. My brother pursued the same and did his MS later. There are two ways to get an internship in the IISC Bangalore.
First, make an application to the Indian Academy of Sciences Summer Research Fellowship program and choose IISC in the institute preference option.
Second, simply email a professor and try to convince them to let your daughter intern at the IISC.
My brother chose the second option to get his preferred spot.
