Since one of my cousins is a recent alumnus of Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal (LNCT), it is best to confine the answer to this institute itself. As per what my cousin entions, LNCT, Bhopal is one of leading private engineering colleges in India at present. Here are some other points to note about it,

LNCT Bhopal offers regular classes with a highly driven method of learning, helping students have the best pedagogy in hand.
It provides equally well established lab facilities, alongside other major amenities considered essential for engineering students.
Apart from these few, it has a leading placement record until now, and is constantly sloping upwards since a long time.
When my cousin joined the institute, the highest salary package was noted as INR 14 LPA, while a year after that, it ranged up to INR 24 LPA, offered to 4 students. This offer was credited by Amazon.
Students are also qualifying at a major rate for several exams, such as GATE, GRE and CAT every individual year.
