Both Haldia Institute of Technology and VIT Vellore are tremendous colleges. If you are to compare these two colleges then you should without a doubt opt for VIT Vellore. Students are provided with better opportunities and facilities at VIT than HIT.
Upon going through vacancies for freshers, you would find that the number of vacancies for freshers is quite low. By opting for Vellore, you would be able to go for interviews in Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad as well. Whereas if you opt for Haldia Institute, you would only seize the opportunity of going for interviews in and around Kolkata through your college.
In the recent placement drive, the average CTC offered at VIT was 6 LPA, while the average CTC offered at HIT is 3.5 LPA.
