According to the recent highlights of KIIT placement, the maximum CTC offered for the IT branch goes up to INR 30-40 LPA. While the average CTC offered for the branch is around 5 LPA. Wipro, TCS, Byju’s, Deloitte, etc. are some of the major recruiters that visit the campus placements frequently.

I have a friend who pursued IT from KIIT and he was able to give some insight into the placements for the branch.
Most students from IT get recruited by mass recruiting companies. But KIIT offers opportunities to get placed in companies like Intel, HP, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.
- Mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc. recruit almost 65% of the IT branch and the salary packages offered by such companies are around 3.5 LPA.
- Around 20% of companies get recruited by companies that offer a CTC of around 4.5-5 LPA.
- Around 10% of the students get a salary package of around 5-7 LPA.
- Only around 5% of students get placed with a salary package of 7 LPA.
In the 2021 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was 30 LPA.
