The entrance test for the joint degree program in business analytics by IIM Calcutta, ISI Kolkata, and IIT KGP is a computer-based test. The examination pattern is as follows.

Total marks	150
No of questions	50
Type of questions	MCQ
Marking scheme	3 marks for each correct answer, -1 mark for each wrong answer, 0 mark for each unattempted answer.
Section wise questions	15 questions - Verbal Ability, 5 questions - Logical Reasoning, 5 questions - Data Interpretation and Data Visualisation 25 questions - Quantitative Aptitude

Go through the previous years' PGDBA sample question papers to get a clear insight of the examination pattern.

The exam is being conducted for the first time and hence it will not be wise to comment on the pattern of the exam. However, based on the previous year’s exam, below would be my best guess.

Discussing last year, there was a maximum of 10 questions in the exam. And all the questions did possess options, but still, you had to write the complete answer else you would face partial grading for the questions.

Few topics such as Integration, Differentiation, Quadratic Equations, Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Probability, and Combinatorics were covered.
Since the quant syllabus is more or less the same this year as well, similar types of questions could be expected.
If we are talking about Quant then topics such as probability, P and C, matrices, and determinants should be covered thoroughly.
You will get to study such topics in your first semester at ISI Kolkata.
In Data Interpretation, we can expect questions similar to the ones given in CAT.
Basic visualization and inference-based questions should be practiced.
As far as verbal and logical reasoning is concerned, it is again not commendable but you can expect questions on a similar pattern to CAT.
