BHU cutoff for the BSc Maths group is around 224 (general category). Here is the cutoff for 2020-21.

Category  FMC MMV
General 224 203
OBC 207 194
SC 127 112
ST 82 78
EWS 209 189
PC 22 12
EMP 6 8

Try to score above 200, to get a shortlist. Naturally, the cutoff varies each year.

For admission to an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, the institution has set a cut-off of 190 marks for General Category students, and a cut-off of 230 for admission to an undergraduate program in Biology. If you are meeting the criteria, you can apply for the counseling process.

  • There is a reservation for a hostel room as well. However, only SC st and PC are available.
  • There are no reservations for OBCs.
  • For a hostel, 225+ would be sufficient, depending on the difficulty of the exam paper.
  • MMV is also available to female students. Their cut-off is roughly 30 points lower than the Institute of Sciences.

The most popular combination is PMK and Computer Sc.Hons. You'll need 250 for that. The second most popular course is SMK with a Comp. Science Hons. Then there is PMC and others. Allotment of combinations is heavily influenced by grades. Almost everything could be done with a 250.
