Which college is better: IBS Mumbai or Welingkar Mumbai?

Welingkar is far better than IBS Mumbai and even better than IBS Hyderabad also. All the campuses of IBS exceptHyderabad are rented properties. 

IBS Gurgaon, Mumbai, Dehradun, Kolkata, Pune, Jaipur, Bangalore, and Ahmedabad are not approved by AICTE or UGC. They are just giving certificates and not a degree. 

Except for IBS-Hyderabad, all other campuses of IBS are just not up to the mark and worth the pennies spent on them. 

Moreover, IBS Hyderabad is also not among the top 30 best business schools in India. If you really want to get admitted to an IBS only, then go for the Hyderabad campus. If not Hyderabad, then don’t go for any IBS campus because people are just taking admission in Hyderabad campus because of the marketing officers who market IBS as a very good business school. I haven’t heard about any business school which requires marketing officers to insist students apply for IBS. 

One of my friends was also insisted by the IBS marketing people to fill up the IBSAT form and he even applied for that. Everyone who applied for IBSAT gets selected for the Hyderabad campus interview and after that he got 79.4%ile. He was offered the Hyderabad campus but after getting XISS Ranchi, he didn’t take admission in IBS Hyderabad. After some time, he got to know, a marketing officer was saying to people that he got rejected from the Hyderabad campus and his score was the only 60%ile. So this shows how the IBS runs their admission department.

So, if you fill the form for IBSAT and not take admission, you will become a promotion commodity for them. They will try to let the people in your college know and then again use the lines, He was a good student but “He got rejected” or didn’t get selected for IBS campus, etc. This will be done so that people would see IBS as a very good business school.
