ITM Navi Mumbai is ranked 57 by India Today for MBA, whereas, Apeejay School of Management has been ranked 91 by India Today in the same category. EMPI Business School is also a reputed MBA college in Delhi.

Placement at ITM Navi Mumbai:With an edge of having industry exposure in Mumbai, ITM Navi Mumbai leverages when compared to the other two in terms of its Finance domain.

  • 37.96% of the total companies visiting the campus are of the finance domain. Few from the top recruiters in the finance domain are JP Morgan, GIC Housing Finance Ltd, Capital First, etc.
  • It has a decent average placement percentage of about 95%.
  • The highest and average CTC received by the students of the institute is 7.6 LPA and 14.2 LPA.

Placement at Apeejay School of Management:

VIPS is ranked 23 by The Week for MBA. Whereas, Apeejay School of Management is ranked 91 for MBA by India Today. Before finalizing any college, you need to look at various parameters other than ranks such as placements, ROI, infrastructure, etc.

Admission:

VIPS- It offers AICTE approved PGDM courses under 7 specializations. The first-year course fee is 4.29 lakhs. Admission to the PGDM programs is through CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT.

Apeejay School of Management- The PGDM programs offered are AICTE and AIU approved. The total course fee is 8 lakhs. Students with more than 70% have a good chance of securing admission at the institute.

Infrastructures & resources:The Infrastructure of VIPS better among two. Its campus life is fantastic as it has the infrastructure for sports and other extracurricular activities.

Both the institutes have great faculties with industry experience.

Placement:

VIPS- VIPS has seen a hike in their average salary; it is consecutively increasing since the last 4 years.

How good is Apeejay School of Management?

Apeejay School of Management has been ranked 10th for private MBA by Times 2020. ASM is AICTE approved and offers three PGDM courses, i.e. General, Marketing, International Business. All the PGDM programs are accredited by NBA and AIU, which makes it equivalent to an MBA degree.

Admission-

  • The College takes admission through CAT as well as other entrance exams like XAT, CMAT MAT, ATMA, and GMAT.
  • If we look at the percentile cutoff of CAT, the cut off is moderate. Hence, the chances of students’ quality, peer interaction, and learning are expected to be decent.
  • The total student intake is 300 and the course costs approximately 8 lakhs.

Faculty- The faculty is very well qualified and helpful. The professors have an average of more than 20 years of industry exposure, which is useful and inspires framing its pedagogy and curriculum. It also gives an advantage in providing industrial visits and many live projects to the students.

Placements – Placement drives are conducted by the Placement Committee (A student Body) like most of the other B-Schools.
