CSE from IIT BHU (2020)

Though the core-pharma jobs are scarce, the life-science sector is an ever-growing sector. It is one of the most vibrant and technical industries and with hard work you will be surely paid off. For example, Reckitt Benckiser, a top life-science based MNC offered a package of 16 LPA. However, it only recruited two students. Top recruiters of Pharmaceutical Engineering students at IIT BHU in the core sector include Dr. Reddy’s, Zydus, Matrix laboratories, Mylan, Sun-Pharma, etc. whereas non-core include Sony, IBM, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Musigma, Evaluserve and many more. Alumni of the department are placed in U.S, Malaysia, U.K, and other countries and extend extensive support to the students. Most students bag lucrative internships and pre-placement offers. IIT-BHU has a magnanimous training and placement cell which is responsible for conducting all placement related activities. Students are provided end to end support from aptitude preparations, mock interviews, G.D preparations, ppts to final placements. You can get a package of 4.5-5 LPA in core placements while core packages can go as high as 14-15 LPA.

The syllabus of Pharmaceutical Engineering incorporates the recent industry trends which keep the students updated with the industry requirement.
The placement cell is excellent and provides lucrative packages to the students. Top recruiters in the core sector include Dr. Reddy’s, Zydus, Matrix laboratories, Mylan, Sun-Pharma, etc. As pharmaceutical engineering is more research-oriented the starting packages in core placements are low as compared to the other sectors but it increases with experience.
Students can opt for non-core placements too, top non-core recruiters are Sony, IBM, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Musigma, Evaluserve, and many more. Adding on to there is a wide scope of higher studies at foreign universities too.
