English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

One of the requirements for international applicants is the submission of English proficiency tests or exams such as TOEFL and IELTS. The minimum requirements/scores for the English proficiency tests must be equivalent to English 6 as outlined below:

Visa Process for International Students

After an admission offer is given and accepted, it is vital for international applicants to apply for a student visa in order to study in Sweden. Students will require a study permit to stay in Sweden for more than 3 months. After students receive admission letters, they can apply for the residence permit. The notifications of selection for undergraduate programs are released by April 20. Admission decisions for graduate programs are announced by March 16. Admission at the Stockholm School of Economics is considered to be selective. The School does complete review of an application considering school or university from where the previous program was completed, courses and grades of previous education, standardized test scores, language skills, work experience, CV and letter of motivation. Applicants are recommended to apply by the early decision deadline as the competition is tough and only limited applications are accepted after the early decision.
