Established in 2003, Brighton and Sussex Medical School, UK operates in an equal partnership with the University of Sussex and University of Brighton. It offers a 5 year Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery that is a globally coveted program among aspirants seeking to study in the UK. BSMS offers accommodation facilities in both University of Brighton and University of Sussex residential halls.
- Housing facilities in University of Brighton are offered in the Paddock field residence where all rooms are ensuite type. There are 25 residential halls, for which, the accommodation rents range between 85 to 195 GBP per week depending on the facilities and types of room.
- Accommodation at University of Sussex is offered in either Lewes court or Norwich house. The room types available for housing students on campus include en suite and shared bathrooms. There are nine housing options offered to the students at Sussex campus. The housing rents range between 123 to 175.75 GBP per week.

Brighton and Sussex Medical School Courses
The institute offers a range of courses for international students including Undergraduate Program, Masters, and Doctoral courses:
- At UG level, it offers Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery ( BMBS). This is a 5-year program where for the first two years are in Falmer and Rest in Teaching Hospitals and Communities.

Brighton and Sussex Medical School Placements
The placements are integrated into the Curriculum of the Degrees. Teaching hospitals and Clinical Placements are done to train students. Students work in Royal Sussex Hospitals, The University NHS Hospitals and thus there are General Practice Placements.
In 2017, there were 12 hospitals where students take training placements. During the initial phase, trainers are trained for Communication Skills moving to Clinical Skills, Minor illness, chronic disease skills, and in the last year they are trained under student-led surgeries.
