I opted for this particular college as it is voted highly as the second-best university to study music. Also, the famous NOVARS building has great electro-acoustic equipment in for electronic composition.
Course Curriculum :
The course advertises modules that they don't actually put on, I have ended up doing many non-music modules just because there aren't enough choices for music. As the 'second-best university for music.
Exams :
Unfortunately, I am not sure what this question means. However, I have taken a number of performance and written exams throughout my degree.
Placement :
There is definitely not enough opportunities for placements on the degree. I believe that this should be encouraged and should be a focal part of a degree to make it easier when the degree finishes finding job opportunities.
Fees :
I am Welsh so my fees structure is different to most other students, however, I was absolutely shocked to find that I had to actually pay extra for my piano lessons (which should surely be paid by the university). I had to stop performance as I could no longer afford my lessons. This is absolutely ridiculous when paying 9,000 a year.
Examination Structure :
I am not sure what this question means again, but the exams I have taken have always seemed to be fair and well structured. The performance exam I think, though, should provide us with a copy of the audio recording afterwards, I think this is a real shame not to.
