Glasgow university review

R
9.5 /10

The option to enrol in a foundation year before starting my degree was beneficial, the university has a good reputation and it is located close to my home. Many of my friends attend Glasgow University too.

Course Curriculum :

I enjoy it as it has been week l designed and is easy to understand. Each topic ties in nicely to the previous and is doesn't seem to skip around too much. It's very in-depth and the variance in activities is a bonus.

Exams :

I studied Scottish qualifications authority (sqa) highers with the grades B B And sqa national 5 AABBBCC

Fees :

The course was $500, but with government funding from the Scottish government, I received a grant of $428, bringing the cost of the course to $72 for me

Examination Structure :

50% of the grade is coursework and the other 50% is an exam which is one hour long. The coursework consists of one essay and one lab report. The essay is due in the first semester and the lab report in the second.

Faculty :

The faculty is good, everyone is well organised and has a clear role to play. Everyone is friendly and approachable and additionally willing to help in any situation
