many events get organised on campus including some prominent speakers but the main fest is BITOTSAV which gets organised in a very classy manner. there are a lot of books and journals in the library and the Library consists of two floors. the classrooms look quite modern with virtual classroom facilities. There is a big cricket ground and 2 football grounds and 2 basketball courts along with 1 indoor stadium for badminton and a gym for exercising. There are more than 10 clubs for Students to showcase their talents like the aerospace club dramatic club musical club racing club etc.
The hostel provides a single room from the first year itself. It also has a double room and a triple room. Each room has properly working fans. The rooms are spacious. The view from the window is also very pleasant. Mess is very large in every hostel. The mess menu is decided by the students and changes every month. The quality is very good. They provide food 4 times a day. Breakfast in the morning, lunch in the afternoon, snacks in the evening and dinner at the night.
The college conducts two annual fests. One tech fest is named Pantheon and One Cultural fest is named Bitotsav. Pantheon is conducted in October. Bitotsav is Conducted in February. Books are available from all the fields in the library. Classrooms are well maintained with ac, CCTV surveillance, and noise proof. The lecture hall is very big. Smartboard is available in every classroom. A sports event is also conducted named Vajra where students of different colleges came and participate. There are many clubs like ACM, SDS, IEEE, IET, LITSOC, FINANCE etc.
The hostel facility is quite good. All the male student's single rooms after the first year. There is lan provided though it mostly stays down. The electricity is good but there are power cuts in some hostels. Meals are good in some hostels and not in others. The hostel is allocated by the authorities after admission and they keep changing it after a few semesters. It is mandatory to get a hostel room as BIT is a residential college.
The annual fest is named bitotsav and it is conducted around March or February the name of the tech-fest is pantheon and it is considered in around September or October. The library has most of the books available in sufficient quantities. Especially, for reserved categories, there are extra books reserved for them. The classrooms are well equipped, we have ACs, fans, good lighting, and smart projector-based classes. The sports facilities are also very good. We have 2 big grounds, a 400m track, and multiple basketball, badminton, and volleyball courts. There is a well-equipped gym too. All the hostels have their separate badminton and volleyball courts too. There are many clubs run by students in many fields like sports, programming, music, drama, art, etc.
The hostel facilities here are quite good and average I can say, the food quality that is provided here by mess staff is good and also hygienic, the menu here is a fixed menu with every hostel having their own set of menu, though that menu can be changed in case of any festival or college event where it is replaced by a special lunch or special dinner. so is being a student representative of the mess secretary made out of student voting which decided the menu of the hostel each year, depending on the season if its summer then once a week you are going to get ice cream at dinner..tal; king about other faculty there is proper WIFI service with high speeds and water collar at every floor except the 3rd floor but it is in the process to be installed there also.
As I am pursuing a mechanical engineering degree at this college so talking in that perspective the curriculum here is well updated I think it is similar to most of the IITs and NITs and talking about the other stuff like studying here, it is a different experience the classrooms are well maintained equipped with a new technology which I think makes a student learning very easy and steady too. The syllabus is also what makes you future-ready for your respective jobs. Currently, I am at the LEO club at the Birla Institute of Technology Mesra this club is very interactive and keeps you busy by participating in its events and club meeting, call once in 2week.
The campus life is quite good here at the bit. The annual cultural fest is named bitotsav and is held around February end of March, and the main tech fest is named Pantheon, held around the end of October. There are plenty of books for each subject for all the subjects. The classrooms are also well equipped with good lighting, AC, and fans. There are good sports and co-curricular facilities available on campus. There is a dedicated sports complex with grounds and courts for various sports and a well-equipped gym too. There are many clubs related to many activities like music, sports, drama, tech, etc.
The campus of our college is awesome and Quite big in terms of area. you must have a cycle or vehicle to roam around the full campus. Greenery is everywhere on the campus. NO Pollution inside the campus. The infrastructure of our college is quite good but is it also improving day by day. Recently NAAC comes to our college for the College infra is quite improved a lot within some days and They accredited this time an A GRADE from a B grade in past. Social Life is pretty awesome and you can roam around with your friends anywhere anytime. Our classes are fully Renovated and SMART. Lab facilities are quite good but improvement should be required especially in Electronics and Electrical Labs. We have Other Building called the R&D building for CSE AND IT branch labs. The Computer LABS of the R&D building are best. Now coming to clubs yes there are plenty of clubs are there in our college depending on your interests you can join anyone. you can join more than 1 club with no restriction on the number.

The admission process was done on the basis of obtained jee mains rank and the admission was done following the josaa guidelines. You can apply for this college through josaa counseling. I don't see any need for improvement in the admission process.
ARBy - Aayush RaturiThe admission procedure of Bit mesra is just as the other colleges where the students have to submit the printout of the online forms like the jee registration certificate, cast certificate(if not from general), and other related documents as mentioned to you in the JOSSA or CSAB website, the students to join this college have to clear the JEE examination and get the specified CRL rank according to current years cutoff and then there is also a SPOT round where the students with lower ranks can also get a seat here depending on the vacancy available. if the reservations are availed then you are open to government-provided scholarships and also you need to pay less. The application form is av
SgBy - Sanchay guptaThe admission was through josaa counselling based on my jee rank. It was an honest process following all the guidelines. Admission happened smoothly without any obstacles. I was eligible for the 4 years B Tech CSE course and applied for the same. Application for admission was done through the website of josaa. I am fully satisfied with the admission process and hence see no need for any kind of improvement.
