BIT Mesra Placements 2022: Average Package: INR 13.01 LPA & Highest Package: INR 58.33 LPA

Since the institute hasn’t yet released the Final Placement Report for the 2020 batch, the following represents the course-wise placements that had been observed during the previous year’s recruitment process:

BIT Mesra B.E. Placements 2019

• In 2018 – 2019, 372 B. E. graduates of BIT Mesra got placed.
• Electronics and Communication Engineering students took the lead with 72 students bagging job offers, followed by Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering students at 63 and 51 respectively.
• The average package recorded was INR 10.64 LPA while the median package was INR 8 LPA.
• The highest package at INR 40.63 LPA offered to B. E. graduates was also the highest overall for the season.
• The biggest recruiters of engineering graduates during the season were: Amdocs, Infosys, PWC, Microsoft, Cognizant among others.

BIT Mesra M.E./M.Tech. Placements 2019

• Students of M. Tech. in Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, and Remote Sensing, as well as students of M. E. in Wireless Communication, Control Systems, CAAD, and Heat Power, participated in the 2018-2019 campus placement drive.
• A total of 9 M. Tech and 5 M. E. students were placed.
• M. Tech students bagged an average package of INR 4.9 LPA while M. E. students were offered INR 7.04 LPA at an average.
• Some of the M. E./M. Tech. recruiters are Ammex, Byju’s, Cognizant, HCL Technologies, Infosys among others.

BIT Mesra Pharmacy Placements 2019

• BIT Mesra has students studying Pharmacy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• During the placement season of 2018 – 2019, more M. Pharm graduates got placed in comparison to B. Pharm students.
• Prominent Pharmacy recruiters were Cipla Ltd., Cadella, Byju’s, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, Johnson & Johnson, Strides Pharma Science, among others.
• Of the 21 Pharmacy students recruited, 11 were taken in by Strides Pharma Science Limited alone.
• The highest package offered was INR 7 LPA, while average and median CTC was recorded at INR 3.88 LPA and INR 2.75 LPA respectively.

BIT Mesra MCA Placements 2019

• During 2018 – 2019, 33 MCA students got placed from BIT Mesra.
• The highest package offered was INR 8.05 LPA while the average and median CTC was recorded at INR 5.25 LPA and INR 6.30 LPA respectively.
• Top MCA recruiters were Amdocs, Cognizant, EXL Services, Infosys Ltd., Tecstern Solutions among others.

BIT Mesra MBA Placements 2019

• 74 MBA students of five specialization combinations were placed during 2018 – 19 Campus Recruitment at BIT Mesra.
• Students of Finance & Marketing combination topped the leader board with Marketing & HR combination trailing behind.
• BFSI sector were the top recruiters with ICICI Bank picking up the most graduates, followed by Bandhan Bank, and Mahindra Finance.
• As per NIRF Data, in AY 2017 – 18, 58 students out of 94 graduates were placed with a median CTC of INR 4 LPA, while in AY 2019 – 18, 74 students out of a class of 91 students were placed with a median CTC of INR 4 LPA
