However, you should keep in mind that very few, around 5-7, students from the top 20 engineering colleges in India get international offers. Also, most of the offers are for computer science students.

BITS Pilani Goa campus is obviously a much bigger brand than Thapar University. So you will definitely get better placement opportunities at the BITS Pilani Goa campus rather than Thapar University. Take a look at some of the statistics of Thapar University for the year 2019-20. BITS Goa Placements 2021 has been concluded with 91% placements. A total of 736 students among 880 registered students got placed. The number of students placed increased by nearly 28.22% as compared to the previous year.

During the placement drive, students received an average salary of INR 16 LPA. The highest salary package offered was INR 43.3 LPA.

There was a participation of 220 reputed recruiters during the placement drive. Some of the major recruiters included Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Cisco, CRED, Swiggy.

During BITS Goa Placements 2021, a total of 880 students registered for the placement drive & 736 among them got placed. The participating batch achieved 91% placements. Students received a bulk number of placement offers from the IT Consulting, Management & Analytics sector.

The highest salary package received was INR 43.3 LPA. Students received an average salary of INR 16 LPA this year.

The placement percentage also increased from 90% in 2020 to 91% in 2021. The 2021 placement drive saw participation of 880 students which is 38.58% higher as compared to the last year. Among them, 736 students got hired by top recruiters. Last year, 574 students were placed.

BITS Pilani-It's Magic

Placement Experience:

Nearly every company visits the campus. Students in their 4th year sit for the placements(5th year for dualities). The average package of the college is around 18LPA, and there is 100% placement. Students go for Practise school (PS) to gain industrial exposure(PS-1 after end of first year and PS-2 in the final year)

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies(from startups to big companies) come for Summer internship programmes for various roles in different domains and projects( Finance, IT, core, non-core, etc). The stipend varies from thousands to lac per month.

Placement Experience:

Placements are one of the best in the country. There is a good mix of tech and nontech companies coming on campus. The Internship program helps you get immersed in the corporate culture and come out ready for the outer world.

Internships Opportunities:

There is an In house program called the Practice School. There are Internships for second-year students and final-year students amounting to 2 months and 6 months each. Companies are spread across India.
