- I chose B.com because I have always loved mathematics, and I have heard that commerce is the best option for people like me.
- Many companies used to approach the college to provide internships to the students pursuing their courses in it.
- There is no placement and internship offered by the college because the university is not as popular as the top institutions in the state or country.
- BSc (Hons) is one of the most affordable and best courses for computer science students.
- Many extracurricular activities are happening in college, and the most important thing is that every week there is a speech competition that helps all students gain confidence.
- There are three hostels in GM University, Sambalpur, and all of them provide great facilities for students.
- According to my point of view, the university is good, but I think it could deserve to be better than this.
Dislike
- Not many companies visit our college for placement; only a few come, and they offer a very low package of 10000-12000 per month. Even fewer students manage to secure such offers.
- No, college does not provide any loan facility, but we can receive scholarships from the college and other clubs and associations based on merit.
- I didnt opt for the hostel, but one of my friends was staying. The rooms were shared by 3 persons. Cleaning and maintenance were poor and needed improvement. The food was of low quality, and hygiene could be improved. However, the rent was very reasonable

Placement Experience:
From 5 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. packages depending on companies that come to give job opportunities. Highest I have seen is 1200000 a year. It can be more nowadays. About 30 to 40 percent of students get placement every year. I have passed my graduation from this university and I am pursuing my M.COM in Ravenshaw University Cuttack.
Remarks:
You have to score 1st division means 60 percentage nowadays for reservation category. For general you need to score 75+ percentage and nowadays selection has been made tough. Application form is available in SAMS website as all the University of odisha has been included in sams from this year. You can get your reservation benefits in case you have less marks if you are lucky because if there are more reserved students scoring good marks then less scoring student can't get admitted. As all the University has been included in sams nowadays so selection process has been same for all college and university so no chance is required.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is a bit lengthy 4 yrs having dual degrees of BSc and bed or BA and bed. Faculty are so good-going and very helpful guiding students at each and every step of life. It is worth being here.

It was based on 10th and 12th percentage mark basis. No entrance was necessary. Apply it from the university site itself online. Offline is also available. After filling the application form the merit list will be shortlist within few days.

This course is based on my field of information science. That's I chose this one. The faculty members are dedicated to their work and are friendly. All the teachers are highly educated having a professor's degree. Timely they conduct exams for the betterment of the students.
