MIT World Peace University is the top education institute in India which was established in 1983 under MIT Group of Institutions. It is located in Kothrud, Pune. Currently, more than 50,000 students are pursuing various courses in different departments. MIT-WPU offers an array of courses at UG and PG level unders its different schools. MIT-WPU B.Tech. Eligibility

The minimum requirement for the B.Tech. course for Maharashtra State Candidates and for seats under All India Quota is mentioned below:

For Maharashtra State Candidates

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects.
Candidates of Maharashtra State Open Category Candidate must have secured 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for Backward Class and PWD category of Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
Those who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% marks (45% marks for Backward Class and PWD category of Maharashtra State only) are also eligible.
Candidates who have been awarded IB Diploma or the IB Diploma Course (i.e. IB Certificate) as a qualification for entry to the professional course at the institute and is required to have passed the subjects of Physics and Mathematics at Higher Level (HL) with a minimum score of 24 credits can also apply.

NOTE -

For admissions to Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Polymer Engineering students must have passed Chemistry also at Higher Level.
Students awarded the IB Diploma should also have completed other mandatory requirements (like CAS, TOK and the EE) towards the award of IB Diploma.

All India Quota Seats The eligibility remains the same for All India Candidates as that of Maharashtra State Candidates. The only difference is candidates who have Diploma in Engineering and Technology are not eligible to apply. Eligibility for B.Tech. Lateral Entry Candidates must have passed Diploma in relevant discipline with at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward Class and PWd category) to be eligible for admission into B.Tech Lateral Entry.

MIT-WPU B.Tech. Selection Criteria

The university selects applicants based on the MHT-CET/ JEE Main/ PERA CET exam for B.Tech course.
Under the All India Quota, the university may also consider BITSAT, VITEEE and MU OET exam score in case of any vacant seat.
Candidates need to confirm their admission by paying INR 1,20,000/- via POS or Demand Draft in the name of "Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University" as Seat Acceptance fee.
Candidates also need to submit the required documents in original.

Selection for B.Tech. Lateral Entry Admission to B.Tech. Lateral Entry is based on the merit in the qualifying examination.

Key Points:

If the seat remains vacant due to non-allotment and non-reporting for admission then such seat will be considered for allotment in subsequent counselling round.
For First Year of Engineering and Technology Admissions, the Diploma candidates shall be considered for allotment only in the last round of counselling.
The seat will get rejected if the candidate fails to report in person for Seat Acceptance.
Allotted Seat will be cancelled if, at any time, any of the documents or certificates is found to be invalid or fraudulent and/or the Candidate does not meet the eligibility

MIT-WPU M.Tech. Eligibility

To apply for M.Tech. course, candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (SC/St candidates are eligible to apply irrespective of their marks/ CPI).

MIT WPU PhD Admission 2020

MIT World Peace University also offers Ph.D. course in only two stream: Pharmacy and Engineering. Candidates who have a Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant discipline can apply for the course. Selection to the course is based on Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) followed by Personal Interview. Those who have a valid score in UGC NET/SET/JRF are exempted from PET.

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), formerly the University of Pune was founded in 1948. The University is home to 46 academic departments. It has been given the highest “A” rating by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council for its overall performance. The University has now been ranked 3rd in India by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has affiliated colleges, departments, and research institutes, which are primarily in Pune. More than 70 Research Institutions have been recognised by the University. The University offers Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Degree in various disciplines. The M.Phil. Degree shall have the status of an intermediate Degree between the first Post-Graduate Degree and the Doctorate Degree. It will have both research and course components and will give the student adequate background for advanced research. The M.Phil. Course can be done either on a full-time or on a Vacational basis depending upon the availability of the programme in the Department/College. The facility of vacational M.Phil. The University invites Applications for admission to the M.Phil. Programme for the academic year. The admission is through an Entrance Test conducted by the respective Departments. University conducts 2 hours entrance examination for M.Phil. It is a 100 marks examination which has two parts- Research methodology for 50 marks and subject specific for 50 marks. General category student must have 50% in entrance examination and reserved category student must have 45% marks.
