The placement of our campus is good. Delloite, Berger Paints, Tech Mahindra, SBI, etc. are coming to campus for our placements. The average placement package is 8 lakhs PA and the highest package is 12 lakh p.a. After completing the MBA degree I will be doing in the field of HR or Marketing.
The admission process was very fair. I gave MAT entrance exam. The student who scores 60% or above is eligible. They can give entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT. You can find all the details on the NIT website. 60% or 6.5 CGPA for General Students. 6.0 CGPA or 55% in the case of SC/ ST. From my side the admission process was good.
Placement in this college is very good. Once you get into the pre-final year you become eligible for the placements. There is a placement cell that calls HRs of different companies for placements. Companies like Microsoft, Byjus, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Amul. Accenture, has different government employers as well. For MBA the highest package is 12lac pa, the least is lac pa and the average is 10 lac pa.
I had appeared for the CMAT exam. Within a month I got my result and I had scored 89 percentile. Then onwards I kept on searching for different colleges for MBA programs. I visited NIT Rourkela's official site and I applied for the course. then after the ending date, I got a mail about being shortlisted for the GD/PI round. The date and time were provided in the email about the interview. I appeared for the GD along with other students then it was time for a personal interview. It hardly took 15 mins. Then after 15 days or so the results were announced and got the mail for selection.
To get into NIT Rourkela one has to appear for jee main examination. Jee main exam generally happens twice A year. One around Feb, another around May-June. One has to visit Jee main website to get info about this exam and related fees. According to Percentile, the rank will be awarded. Based on rank, counselling will be done by JOSSA where candidates can fill up College preference. There is some reservation policy also for home state students and different category students.
DJBy - Debi Prasad JenaThe eligibility for the course is simple ..we have to give jee main exam and based on percentile and rank as well as the basis of caste reservation we get a seat in a higher ranked branch and we get a seat here through jossa site ...the application form is easily available.
SsBy - Sitanshu sekhar sahuanyone who appeared jee mains can participate in the admission process. the admission process is conducted by JOSAA. The application form is found on josaa official website. OBC students get a quota of obc rank, not general rank. no improvement is needed.
