What students say about ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education - [IFHE]

Likes

  • There are many guest lectures that help us understand the organizational structure and enable us to create our own report based on it.
  • Internships are great here. Companies like Snyder Electronics, Mahindra and Mahindra, L&T, Sulakshana Circuits, and many others come for internships offers with good and acceptable stipends.
  • The placement cell always strives to bring the best people to the organization.
  • There are some scholarship opportunities for us based on how well we score in the overall CGPA for the entire semester.
  • We have a basketball ground, a cricket ground, and many indoor games such as badminton, squash, and tennis, as well as a swimming pool.
  • A simple room with a bed, table, and chair, with an attached balcony. There are also rooms with attached washrooms available. The meal quality was nice, and three meals were provided along with snacks.
  • I visited the campus and went through the library, placement cell, playground, and canteen, which were superb. The environment of the college is also superb.

Dislike

  • I havent opted for the hostel, but the overall hostel experience is bad. They charge 64k per semester for the hostel, including mess fees. The food at the mess sucks, which makes it even more difficult to survive. Thats why there are many dhabas outside our college

Placement Experience:

From last semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements, Campus placement is not good in the university, very few companies come to hire here, few are - HDFC Bank, Bajaj Allianz, surjeet agriculture industries etc.

Remarks:

There was no entrance exam. You just have to have above 50% in 12th in any stream. Application forms can be availed from University only, the form fee is around 1k and the admission fee is 10k, the application starts in June/July. You can avail scholarship on the basis of merit (12th-grade score).

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cause I want to start my own fashion firm, and I want to have handover management and administration. the curriculum covers almost every aspect of business administration. we have 7 to 8 courses each semester and 6 semesters in total. though the syllabus is lengthy, it is interesting. there are 4 exams for each semester, one of them usually an assignment. the exams are pretty easy to pass.

Remarks:

I have come across IBS through one of my friends, and IBS has a very easy application process. I contacted one of the administrators and he asked me to fill out the admission form which anyone can find on the ifcai website. then I had to pay 600 INR as admission fees. the second process was a panel interview with the management where there were basic questions asked. when it comes to eligibility for BBA anyone from any course can apply as long as they're 13 graduates. all over, the admission process is pretty simple and straightforward.

Placement Experience:

Coming to placements I am studying in 1st year now so I don't have any placements now, but after completing my 1st year they have made a mandatory to do internships in companies to know they're strategic to marketing. 95.5% have placed last time my seniors told me about it.

Remarks:

I should have at least 50% in my 12th grade. You can go to amours for the admission process and to the icfai college site too. There's no reservation in this college. No, it's all good and we also have scholarships for students based on their 12th grade.

Placement Experience:

I am still in the first year so I am not sure about placements and stuff. But some companies have come for the final year and 8 of them got selected. Not sure about the price and packages. Third years have campus placements available.

Remarks:

We have to first apply online and then pay an amount for an interview. They are gonna take interviews and in interviews, they will ask questions regarding self-development, communication skills, and some general knowledge questions. They are gonna announce the results soon maybe in 3 hours after checking the results if we get through we must deposit 20,000 and register ourselves.
