  • Preference in allotment of scholarship seats will be given to V-SAT’20 qualified candidates. 
  • 25% of the total seats in each department are reserved for scholarships. Out of that 5% of seats with 75% scholarship, 10% seats with 50% scholarship and 10% seats with 25% scholarship. (For Example, out of 60 seats, 3 seats with 75% scholarship, 6 seats with 50% scholarship and 6 seats with 25 % scholarship). 
  • The scholarship seats are allotted in all programs on the basis of merit, availability of seats and first-come-first-served basis.
  • The scholarship is applicable for four years of study subject to maintaining a minimum of 70% of marks in the preceding year(s) without any backlogs.

Scholarships for PG Programs for the academic year 2019-20

  • For M.Tech and MCA programs 25% of the total intake capacity seats in each department are reserved for scholarships. Out of that 5% seats with 100% scholarship, 10% seats with 50% scholarship and 10% seats with 25% scholarship. 
  • For the MBA program out of total intake capacity seats in the department 5% seats are reserved with 100% scholarship, 25% seats with 50% scholarship and any number of seats with 25% scholarship.

Sports Quota

10 seats are reserved under sports quota with 75% scholarship for 4 years of study who represented individual/track events at the state or university level. Another 10 seats are reserved with 50% scholarship for 4 years of study who represented individual/track events at the District level.

Scholarship for SC/ST Students

25% of tuition fee is offered a scholarship to all the SC/ ST admitted students as part of the social responsibility of the institution towards the society.

Scholarship for Vignan Alumni

10% of tuition fee is offered as scholarship in all years of the UG/ PG programs for those students who studied the qualifying course in Vignan institutions.

Scholarship for Spouse/ Son/ Daughter of Vignan University Staff

20% of tuition fee is offered as scholarship in all years of the UG/ PG programs for those students who are a spouse/ son/ daughter of an employee of Vignan’s Deemed to be University.

Scholarship for own Brother/ Sister

10% of tuition fee is offered as scholarship in all years of the UG / PG programs for those students who studied/ studying in Vignan’s Deemed to be University.
 

Scholarship for wards of Children of Armed Personnel (CAP)

10% of tuition fee is offered as scholarship in all years of the UG / PG programs for the wards of Children of Armed Personnel.

Scholarships will be applicable for the entire duration of their study, only if the student is promoted with 70% of marks in the preceding year without any backlogs.

Scholarships for PhD program

Faculty working in Vignan’s Institutions and registered as PT (Part-Time) research scholar will be offered 50% as a scholarship in tuition fees per year for a period of four years from the date of admission.

HTRA for Ph.D. Scholars

For selected full-time Ph.D. Scholars, a uniform Half Time Research Assistantship (HTRA) / stipend of Rs.25,000/- per month for Engineering and Rs.18,000/- for Science, Management and Humanities streams will be provided from the date of admission for a duration of four years or till the date of submission of thesis, whichever is earlier.
