Course Details

The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) offers a full time two year (4 semesters) MBA program. It offers MBA in 5 specializations namely Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, Systems Management, Finance, and Operation Management.

Latest Update: The results of NEPGET 2020 have been published by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. The PG entrance exam is conducted for admission to the programs such as MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech, and Ph.D. However, those with the national level entrance valid scorecard are exempted from the entrance test.

NERIST MBA Admission Dates 2021

The minimum requirement is to have a bachelor’s degree with 55% marks.
Admission to MBA is open to all Indian Nationals. The institute also accepts valid scores of CAT/MAT/XAT. Otherwise, candidates can appear for the NEPGET to qualify for admissions.

NERIST MBA Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree in UGC or AICTE accredited disciplines/courses, with 55% marks in total and 50% for the category of SC/ST.

NERIST MBA Application Guidelines

The selection process for MBA is divided into two parts:

Part I: NEPGET

NEPGET is a written entrance test conducted by the NERIST.
Selection shall be based on academic merit and success in the NEPGET entrance/ institute-conducted examinations.
Candidates with a valid scorecard of CAT/ MAT/ XAT are exempted from the NEPGET.

Part II: Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI)

Shortlisted candidates are called further for group discussion and personal interview based on marks obtained in NEPGET or scores obtained in CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT.

Steps to apply:

Visit the official website to apply for NEPGET online.
Enable your Email ID and Activation Code for the online application; send it to the submitted Email ID / Mobile No in the registration process.
Select the Program Type & Name and check the eligibility.
Click on “Application Details''. In the application form, fill in all the required details.
Upload one by one a scanned image file of his or her photograph and signature.
Fill in all the required Academic details.
In the next step, choose your Document details.
Pay the application fee of INR 1000 + bank transaction charges for all category candidates.

A scanned passport size colour photograph.
File size should Less than 100KB).
Your scanned signature on white sheet File size should Less than 100KB).
Scanned/ Soft copy of NET/ GATE/ CAT/ MAT/ SLET/ M.Phil./ Lecturer Fellowship scorecard/ certificate. (Less than 100KB)
Copy of ST/ SC/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ EWS original documents.
