The placements are maximum for the CSE and ECE students. Around 50-60 companies visit the campus for placements. The placement process starts in the 7th Semester. I am a CSE student so I will share my experience accordingly. The companies first organize an Aptitude test followed by Technical rounds followed by personal interviews. For CSE, the placement percentage is 80-90% with an average pack of 6 LPA. It is comparatively easy for computer engineers to land a job in CCET with an average package.
You can take admission in CCET for your bachelor's via JEE Mains and have scored at least 75% in your 12th boards (CBSE/ICSE). They have 4 braches of engineering here: Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical and Civil. You can go for CSE if you have a rank of around 50-60k and ECE if your rank is upto 80k.
After 12th standard bsc. med was the only option and the college was providing the best education which was cost-efficient. the faculty-student ratio is 1: 20. most of the teachers are PhD qualified. teachers are best and strict. term exams happen very timely and are moderately difficult to pass.
The admission process was simple, there was no entrance exam. application forms were available in college. The application form costs Rs 200. DAV College is affiliated with Punjab University, so there is a number of scholarships are provided by college and university.
CCET has an excellent track record when it comes to placement. The college has a dedicated placement cell that works tirelessly to secure job opportunities for students. Many leading companies across various sectors visit the campus for recruitment, and students have been placed in well-known companies with lucrative packages. In case campus placements are not offered, the college provides ample opportunities for students to enhance their employability through internships and skills development programs.
CCET is a popular engineering college in India. The admission at CCET is typically based on the candidate's performance in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To apply for admission to CCET, candidates first need to appear for the JEE Main examination and obtain a valid score. The cut-off for admission to CCET varies every year and is dependent on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the JEE Main examination, and the availability of seats. Candidate who meets the cut-off criteria is offered admission to the college. Overall, the admission process at CCET is rigorous and competitive and candidates need to perform well in the JEE Main examination to secure a seat in the college.
The faculty of mcm is the best in Chandigarh. Classes are well-spaced and the student-to-teacher ratio is okay. Teachers put effort and provide notes as well. Mid-semester exams and held and assignments are also given timely.
Based on merit (class 12th percentage). The application form was available on the website. And eligibility was 55% marks in class 12th. The form is priced around 800-900 and the filing process is completely online.
The faculty members are very polite and helpful. ECE is a thriving sector with multiple job opportunities across industries. Teachers are well-trained and qualified. They help their students to solve problems.
It was simple. The staff was very good & helpful. The admission process was smooth. Just need to jee to enter this college whose percentile is seen while admitting students in college. jac counselling is also required. One can find all information on jac chandigarh website as well as ccet website.
The students are eligible for employment from colleges after 5 semesters and the college organises an employment fest at the end of the semester so students can choose from there. If you are a Bcom graduate you can look for options in accounting or finance or data entry or you can pursue MBA to diversify your field of employment
The admission for my graduation was through the eligibility for the course you need to get a percentage above the college cut-off to get admission. The cut-off for the reserved category was very low and due to that the competition for seats increased and the general category had a very high cut-off. I would request the college to give admission on the basis of the qualities of the students not on the basis of marks or some reservations system.
Mainly from 5 semesters , companies start coming with their job offers or sometimes in 4th semester. The average package is 1.5L and maximum is 18L from D.E Shaw. But from many years this company took no student. Percentage doesn't matter for placement. What matters is your communication skills.
The admission is done on the basis of Cut-off. It was totally based on your 12th percentage. The application is filled through the.ac.in the site. This one form is applicable to every affiliated college under Panjab University. The admission procedure was online.
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements on campus. And go for internships and Training. Not big tech companies visit our campus only small startups and mass hiring companies like TCS, Infosys etc type of companies hire students. Small startups like josh technologies, bebo, chemic etc come to campus for hiring candidates. The highest package is around 30 lacs but that is off-campus campus highest package is 10 lac and the lowest package is 2.5 lac. in cs and generally 100 % of students get placed but in ECE and MECH placements are very low. Plan to go abroad.
I was admitted through jee mains score. Students can register themselves at the JAC Chandigarh site for selection rounds. Registration fees are Rupees 2500 and differ in the reservation. JAC Chandigarh portal opens generally after jee advanced results. cutoffs are not high generally you could get CSE or IT in 60k to 80k. The admission process is smooth but sometimes students get problems with fee submission but that can be resolved.
Well, Let's be Honest in this, after all this is what everyone looks for before joining the campus ; 1. Good amount of companies visit Campus each year 2. By good I mean 30-50 (At least at my time ~ 2022-2023) and quality is not good at all. 3. There are hardly 10 Companies that you can call really good companies with a good or decent package. 4. Others are just a bunch of startups with 2-3 people coming to Hire, or even are some local companies of Chandigarh. 5. But average placement goes around 6.5 Lakh usually and CSE /IT gets placed maximum.
I applied through JAC Counselling and they take in JEE Mains marks and min 75% in 12th is required at that time of admission. You can check JAC Website and there they update you about all processes and timelines and forms, as the process is virtually now done.
maths was a subject that always challenges me to study hard so for that I chose to follow a career in mathematics. in my college, there are 60 students and there are 10 teachers in the math department so a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio is there All the teachers are very good in the field of teaching and all are highly qualified most of the teachers have qualified major all India levels exams like NET and GATE. and some have also completed their Ph.D. in mathematics. Exams are held at the end of every semester and I can tell that it is not very easy to get a pass. For a good score, you have to study continuously and keep preparing for doing better in exams.
I got admission on the basis of my graduation marks cut off. From the college website, I filled out the admission form and then after verification of my documents, I got admission. All the data was available on the college website for the students who want admission.

I gave jee mains exam in 2019. And after the result, I applied for counseling in Jac. We have to fill the priorities of the stream and college according to us .you can find the application form on the official website of the Jac Chandigarh. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. But there are some reservations for the sc, obc, and st castes. And no Chandigarh quota.

NlBy - Naman lahotraEligibility was very easy. There was no entrance test but they check the previous percentage of 12th standard and a lot of seats according to availability. Overall good experience. Reservation benefits are available for weaker sections as well
