- We are provided with the best faculty, who have great teaching experience, and practical labs with modernized equipment.
- I am working with Vardhan Consulting Engineers and also Tamasha Technology. It has been a great experience. My mentor has provided me a lot of information regarding the industry.
- The colleges placement percentage is currently at a very good 60%, whereas, before COVID, it was 98%. Now, it is once again coming back on track.
- The college also provides scholarship and loan facilities, which are the best things in this college. Anyone can get admission to this college.
- My campus life is just awesome, the best hostel life ever. There are around 16,340 students on our campus; the ratio of females to males must be 46:54.
- Hostel rooms are very good in our college. They provide food at given times, like breakfast at 10 am in the morning, lunch at 2 pm, and dinner at 8 pm
Dislike
- Lots of companies visit the campus for different fields and courses. Im not satisfied because there are not many placements available for my field. The university needs to focus equally on the placement of all the courses.
- Scholarships are available for single girl children, higher percentage students, distinction students, as well as low fees for SC and poor categories.
- I am a day scholar, so I dont reside in the hostel, but I use the hostels very often because my course runs from morning till evening.
- As the departments are careless, sometimes library staff are drinking tea during working hours.

Placement Experience:
In the final year of their course, students are eligible to apply to the companies which come to the college for hiring students Companies like dr morepen , Cadbury, Microtech, etc. About 60 to 70 percent of students get placed through companies visit in the campus But I had not applied at the time of graduation because I want to do a master's in applied chemistry so now I'm pursuing a master's in applied chemistry and after this, I'll do phd.
Remarks:
Actually I had done my class 12th from chandigarh so it is not very tough for me to take admission in this college because of the ut quota. So after my 12 result forms are opened different colleges in Chandigarh which are affiliated with panjab university so fill out the form and got admission to the first counseling. The cutoff of my course is an average of 90-92 percent for other than ut students and the cutoff for ut students is around 65 percent.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the Bachelor of commerce because I wanted to do so, it is a good field to choose. Lots of students choose this field and there is a semester system in our college for a bachelor of commerce and if we study hard then it can be passed easily.
Remarks:
The eligibility for the course is only a requirement of the twelfth standard. The application form is available at the library of our college and we submit the fee there to get the prospectus and application form, then we submit our one semester's fee there to get admission.
Placement Experience:
After the 7th-semester students are eligible for campus placement there are so many companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Infosys, and so many and rest companies you can get on the website of UIET Chandigarh the higher package was 43 lac by cse branch. The average package is about 7.5 lac per annum. Almost 70 to 80 percent get placed. My plan wants to do MBA or MTech.
Remarks:
The eligibility is the jee mains percentile, we get admission on basis of JEE Mains percentile. We can get the application form (JAC Chandigarh's official website). It knows as JAC Chandigarh counseling. Detail of the reservation we can get on JAC Chandigarh counseling official website. Because it varies yearly I think it is quite an easy and fast process.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I opted for this stream as I was a commerce student. There are about 140 students in our class. Teachers are well educated and experienced as they teach in a deep and good way. There are most exams after every 6 months which are generally exams for revision for final exams.
Remarks:
There is no entrance exam. But you should have a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for undergraduate courses. To get admission, you have to go to the library and collect the prospectus, then after filling it and depositing it, you will get admission.
Placement Experience:
Our college provides job placements and internship opportunities in the college. As far as it is concerned there was a sudden increment in job placements from the college and many companies from different spheres like computer, IT, Telephone, communication, etc. are provided. As available on the internet, the truth is that offers up to 3-4 lakh per annum are on averagely provided and the highest packages are up to INR 20 LAKH per annum. Approximately 23-25% of students are placed annually in different companies. However, after getting a degree I do not want to pursue the job but I want to home my skills and experience and put them into my family business.
Remarks:
I took admission 1 month late and the classes started to run at that time. All the students have to contact the Dean if they are late in taking admissions and to get admission the student must get a percentage above 60% in the 12th class. The students were struggling to get admission but if you have a good percentage, it's easy to get admission. Yes!! Now as I want to opt for Economics honors we can get it from the second year of college as the college checks your eligibility that whether the student is good in the subject field or not. The student must get above 60% in the respective subject. Reservation benefits are also provided but as I had a good percentage, I didn't have to avail myself of that. Yes if you are having late admission you must have to pay for late admission fee which is 3-4 thousand rupees extra than the normal fees. The admission process could be improved more if the college released separate forms than just CUET which are easily available on the internet.
Course Curriculum Overview:
When I was in 10th I think about B.A, 30,000 students there, All are above Ph.D. candidates, there, There is a two-term exam Dec-May. Not difficulty in exams, that we read in class that are available in our papers so easily pass.
Remarks:
It was a awesome University, which I was expecting in my mind.friendly lecturers and student also. Vibe of campus are also cool and best part is that it was in Chandigarh.All course are available.Form available on- puchd.ac.in. Fees and dates are also available there. Reservation is also available there.
Placement Experience:
A lot of companies visit this campus. Core and IT company both used to visit here. In core branches like EEE, Mech around 50-60% of students get placed. 20-30% get placement in core companies, Amazon, American Express, Samsung, Deloitte, ZS etc these are the major companies which visit the college. From 6th sem students are eligible for sitting in placement. The highest package is 30 Lakh offered by Amazon (on campus) and 42 lahks by Microsoft (off campus) around 80-90% of students get placement.
Remarks:
Admission is strictly based on the marks in JEE Main examination. You have to go through JAC Chandigarh counselling process to get admission to this college. This comes under Panjab University, Chandigarh. The preferred branch for students is CSE. Mostly CSE cutoff goes up to 30k-35k Rank in JEE for general students.
Placement Experience:
After the 5th semester we will become eligible for campus placement. Companies that visited our college are Wipro, Nestle, etc. About 5 to 6 students get the placements. My planning after getting the degree is to do the job.
Remarks:
Admission process is very easy because you have to go to the college website and fill in the admission form and if u don't know how to then u have to go to the college and the teachers will personally help the students who don't know about the how to fill the admission form. the teacher of our college is very helpful and supportive.

"Panjab university: unforgettable 4 years"
I gave jee mains exam in 2019. And after the result, I applied for counseling in Jac. We have to fill the priorities of the stream and college according to us .you can find the application form on the official website of the Jac Chandigarh. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. But there are some reservations for the sc, obc, and st castes. And no Chandigarh quota.

The admission for my graduation was through the eligibility for the course you need to get a percentage above the college cut-off to get admission. The cut-off for the reserved category was very low and due to that the competition for seats increased and the general category had a very high cut-off. I would request the college to give admission on the basis of the qualities of the students not on the basis of marks or some reservations system.

Eligibility was very easy. There was no entrance test but they check the previous percentage of 12th standard and a lot of seats according to availability. Overall good experience. Reservation benefits are available for weaker sections as well
