There's no fee hike in between the semesters but it is controlled by the administrative body so no rigid behavior. Different scholarships can be availed from government websites. Financial assistance can be provided by the banks present in the college.
Fees for the first semester is 1,15,000 and 86,000 afterwards. There are scholarships provided to some students on the basis of caste, economic background, and academic excellence. The hostel fees for a semester is around 65,000 and mess fees is additional based upon how much you eat, it's around 1200 a month usually. Internship and placement opportunities are provided on-campus and they are good. Internships are usually harder to crack than placements.
PEC is an expensive college its nearly equal to the fee of private engineering colleges, and there are no economic-based scholarships given by PEC on its own, some scholarships are offered by PEC Alumni but those are almost negligible like 2-3 students per branch, and scholarships are given to reserved quota candidates
The fees started at around 70k. Increased 10% every semester. There are a number of scholarships available- For girls, For an only child, Best performers. Git an Internship and Ore Placement Offer from a Banking Firm in a Software development role Stipend 50K.
Fees for the BTECH program in this college are a bit higher than in other government engineering colleges. It is written in the college prospectus that fees can be increased up to 10 percent every year. Mostly students belonging to SC or ST categories can easily avail of fee waivers based on financial income certificates. For students belonging to the general category it is quite tough to get a fee waiver. Approx 50 percent of students got an internship in their third year of the program with an average stipend of approx 15-20 K and an average placement of 15 lacs per annum in the fourth year.
This college is a little expensive if we compare it to Nit's and comparable to IIT's The fee is increased every year to some extent So when I got admission, the fee was 94000 per semester and there are 8 semesters in B.Tech also there are some extra maintenance charges taken in admission fees The hostel was also quite expensive compared to the quality they give. It was 75000 per year plus 3000 for mess per month And the major point here is, you get lesser opportunities to get a scholarship here, as they give a 50% tuition fee waiver to SC, and ST students other than that there are income-based alumni scholarships which are given to very few students as compared to to other government colleges, there are some scholarships for physically handicapped students also. But overall the scholarship system should be improved and corruption should be decreased The campus job placements are nice we got 83.5 lpa as the highest ON-CAMPUS placement in our branch with 20.99 LPA as the average package this year.
The admission process is simple to understand, we need to give an entrance exam called JEE which is very famous in India, people who got 75%+ in their 12th boards in stream PCM can apply for the exam. After giving the exam we need to wait for the result in which our rank is declared and after that counselling process is done by govt. colleges which allot colleges and streams to students if they filled that in the list, according to their ranks. The application form for jee is released by nta on their website nta.nic.in and application fees at my time was 650 per exam attempt, it's a Little bit higher now. Students with good ranks in jee mains can get this college and the cut-off for my stre
MsBy - Mayank sajnaniIf you want to get admission to PEC you have to give JEE MAIN exam and have to secure a decent rank around 10-12K if your aim is to get the CSE branch and around 18 k for the data science branch. For the rest of the cutoff, you may refer josaa counseling website. You can apply for this college through JOSAA and CSAB counseling. Reservation for various categories are present here and students can take admission through sports quota also. Admission process is quite simple and same as most of the government engineering colleges.
USBy - Ujjawal SidanaThe Entrance exam for this was JEE Mains which is conducted in Computer Based Test format by NTA. The application form can be found on the NTA website. No reservation benefits are availed. The cut-off was about 8500 in rank.
