Course Details

IPU B.Arch admission 2024 is open now. The last date to apply is March 31, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @ipu.ac.in. The application fee is INR 1500. Admissions to B.Arch at IPU will be based on scores obtained in the NATA examination followed by counselling conducted by the university. NATA 2024 will be conducted from April 6, 2024. IPU B.Arch is a three-year bachelor’s degree program offered at the affiliated colleges. The university charges a total fee of INR 3.95 lakhs. IPU has a total intake of 80 students for its B.Arch program. 85% of seats are reserved for students belonging to Delhi and 15% outside Delhi. Some seats are reserved for the students belonging to the OBC, SC, and ST categories.

IPU B.Arch Eligibility

To be eligible for B.Arch admission at IPU, Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Candidates must have completed their senior secondary education (10+2) from a recognized board with minimum aggregate marks of 50% .

Candidates must possess a diploma degree from a recognized college with at least 50% score.

IPU B.Arch Admission Criteria

The admission to the colleges affiliated to IPU is made on the basis of the score of candidates in NATA and qualifying scores. A merit list of the candidates is then made. The following is the weightage -

Architectural Aptitude (NATA score) - 50%
Qualifying Examination (that is,10+2 OR 10+3 years diploma) - 50%

How to apply for IPU B.Arch?

Candidates can apply for the course via online mode. Given below are the steps to apply for the course:

Visit the official website of the university.
Go to the application portal and register yourself.
Fill in the application form with all the valid details.
Upload the documents as per the given instructions.
Pay the application fee via net banking, credit card or debit card. Application fee is INR 100.

IPU B.Arch Course Details

The duration of the course is 5 years divided over 10 semesters. Each year consists of two semesters.
The course is broadly classified into two streams - core and elective.
10 semesters are covered over practical/ studio core courses, studio core courses, elective courses and elective learning.
The total credit points are 300.
