What students say about Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - [GGSIPU]

Likes

  • Each course and curriculum was excellent. Each and every staff member is quite helpful. Subjective support was awesome.
  • Stipend is offered at all places, as we were taught in a very good environment; hence, we reached our destination.
  • Many good profile companies visited at the time of placement, such as Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Capgemini, Mahindra, and many more.
  • There is a club for placement in DME called the Placement Cell, which aims at providing you with the best placement, keeping in mind the candidates interests and abilities.
  • The infrastructure, faculty, college, crowd, staff, library, and classrooms, all things were good and at their best.
  • The hostel facility is excellent here. We have 2 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels.
  • The college is very good, and I am very happy that I have taken admission in this college.

Dislike

  • Irrelevant assignments were given by teachers, which all of us just copied from Google and submitted.
  • Recently, a few teachers have taken the initiative to establish bonds between companies and our campus, thereby providing in-campus internships.
  • The placement status is very poor, with a very bad experience. Not more than 3-4 companies come for the placement. The companies include e-value serve, Accenture, and TCS. The packages offered are between 3-4 lakh per annum.
  • I have not opted for any scholarship or educational loan, and I assume there are no scholarships in this college since students are selected based on their ranking.
  • The campus is bad in my college due to its location and lack of space.
  • This college has the same too. There are teachers and students that are a positive side, but there are placement and sometimes the photocopy machine breaks, which adds to the bad side of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as this course can help me in future because I wanna get work fone related to finance and all. The faculty of my college is not that good for the MCIT department but for the law course they are perfect In MCIT THE RATIO IS 1:16 They take 4 exams every year

Remarks:

The admission process in Ipu involves Interested candidates must fill out an application form online ( ipu.ac.in ) and submit it with the required documents and fees. All the courses offered at IPU require an entrance exam. The entrance exam pattern and syllabus vary depending on the course. After the entrance exam, the university declares the results, and the candidate who clears the cutoff is eligible for the next round of selection. The counselling process involves a college preference and all. The cutoff mark varies each year. The university releases a cutoff list on its official website for each course.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester of the course, students get eligible for campus placement. Yes if any student has not any internship experience then it's hard for them to get placement. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 lac per annum, the lowest salary package offered was 2 lac per annum and the average salary package offered was 2.4 lac per annum. Most student from our course has not appeared for placement because they want to do higher studies.

Remarks:

The minimum eligibility for this course is that students should have passed 12th from any recognised board with a minimum of 50% of marks. I find the application form on the college website. The application fee was around 1000 rupees. I have not availed of any reservation. The admission process was good, there is not any changes required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been studying for more than 6 months now and the infrastructure is best. It has all the necessary equipment such as well-equipped chairs, projectors, and centralised air conditioning throughout the college. One has all the necessary items required for comfortable studying in the classroom. In fact, students can charge their mobile phones if urgent. The campus is equipped with wifi. The food is not that great in the canteen.

Remarks:

I take admitted to my College By ACPC after completing my 12th. ACPC Prepared merit list through JEE marks as well as 12th marks based on this College is provided with its own cutoff and takes Admission According to the interested field through college/University cut-offs.

Placement Experience:

From the fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. There were many companies which came for placements like TCS, etc. Almost 60% of students got placements. The highest average package was Rs.3,00,000 lakhs.

Remarks:

There was an entrance test at Indraprastha University. To be eligible for the course, a decent rank was to be scored. The application form was was available online and application fees were also filled out online.

Placement Experience:

From the start of the Vth semester, students are eligible for campus placement, and more than 100 companies visited the campus for different profiles. The average packages offered by the companies are 6 LPA. Approximately 60% of students are placed, while the remaining 40 % preferred higher studies. After doing BCA I want to gain experience in the corporate field and we will go for MCA to get a master's degree in technology

Remarks:

The main eligibility criteria for taking admission in the BCA course is that candidates should pass the 12th (CBSE) or an equivalent exam with a minimum mark of 50 %. And Students have Mathematics or Computer Science / Informatics Practice/ Computer Applications. And after that students have to clear the IPU CET Entrance exam with a good rank. (ipu.ac.in) At this link for the admission portal, a candidate can register himself/ Herself for signup.

Placement Experience:

From 5-6 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. The company visited wipro, banking sectors, digital marketing, etc. average package goes to 3-6 lakhs. 85 per cent of students get placements. My plans after getting the degree are to move on in life and become an accountant or go into the financial department.

Remarks:

The admission process is too vast. First, u have to give an ipu paper which is affiliated with guru gobind singh university. All the forms and application fees were on the ipu site. After that marks scores are Uploaded on the site. Then there is a counselling round in which student can fill their preferences or choice for college.
