The fee structure policy is good. Semester registration fee is around? 200. Hostel registration fee is around? 1500. And apart from it, the mess charge per month is around? 3000. College also provides MCM scholarships to students (?2000 per month in the academic calendar). Also, students often do part-time jobs while in college. After the course is completed, many students opt to study abroad and some even get jobs in their respective countries as per their languages. Also, MNCs like Amazon and Flipkart often hire students from JNU.
JNU provides ample opportunities for deserving students to receive scholarships and financial assistance to pursue their education without any financial burden. Additionally, campus jobs also provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience and earn a stipend.
JNU offers an affordable fees structure and various scholarship and financial assistance opportunities to students. The campus also offers campus jobs and internships to help students earn while they study. These opportunities make JNU an excellent choice for students who are looking for quality education without any financial burden.
Although the fee hike had a negative response which was obvious considering the percentage of increase. But as all the universities go, it is still safe to say that JNU is the cheapest of them. One can also avail of the mcm scholarship based on the yearly income of his/her family. Although there aren't any jobs that you get on campus, opportunities for freelancing are there for the students.
The fees for a semester are about 75,000 Rs for the general and the OBC students. The hostel fees are not included in this. When compared to the rest of the engineering colleges, the fees here are much more affordable.
The academic fee structure is about 56k per semester and if your income is between 1-5 lakh per annum then the academic fee is 1/3rd and if your income is less than 1 lakh per annum or if you are SC/ST. The student then academic fee is zero, and there are plans for MCM scholarships for engineering students in JNU. The placement cell in JNU is emerging, It is new now, and several companies visit the college for placement and internship.

In my, College Reservation is given based on central government rules. Apart from the normal reservation, JNU provides 6 marks for students from backward districts across India. The admission process is largely flexible and smooth. Seniors and student organizations are quite helpful while the admission process and throughout
