Course Details

Delhi University MCA admission 2024 for all affiliated colleges will be based on CUET PG scores. CUET PG 2024 registrations are open now and the last date to apply has been extended to February 07, 2024. Interested candidates can register online on the official website @pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. CUET PG 2024 exam will be held from March 11 to March 28, 2024. Candidates who clear the entrance exam are further required to register for seat allocation on the official admission portal of DU @admission.uod.ac.in. Seats will be allocated based on CUET PG scores through Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS PG) portal. Check DU Admission 2024

DU MCA is a 2-year full-time program offered by the Department of Computer Science. There are 58 seats for students qualifying the entrance exam and 03 or 5% seats are reserved for international students. Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in computers are eligible for admission to the MCA program offered by Delhi University.

DU MCA Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for MCA admission at Delhi University, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

The applicant must have secured an aggregate of 60% or a relevant CGPA in school examinations. The university has relief in annual examination for special category candidates.
Candidate needs to have an undergraduate degree with Mathematical Science as a compulsory subject in examinations either from Delhi university or any other recognized university.

DU MCA Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission to the MCA program at Delhi University are required to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG), conducted by NTA. Candidates who clear the entrance examination will be required to register on Delhi University’s admission portal. Provisional seat allotment will be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS PG) portal by Delhi University where candidates will be required to fill in college and department preferences. For the final selection, a merit list will be released by Delhi University based on CUET PG scores, college and department preferences, availability of seats, reservation criteria, academic qualifications, and other factors.

DU MCA Application Process

The application process is restricted to online mode only and it is compulsory to register on the common portal on DU PG Admission Portal. All candidates need to follow these steps in order to achieve a successful application to the curriculum.

Visit the official website of DU and on the admission tab click on DU PG Portal Admission.
Register by providing a functioning email and Phone Number.
After successful registration, the applicant needs to upload the self-attested documents on the portal for further process.
Choose the course- MCA and fill in the accurate details about earlier education and personal details.
The portal will show the payment option for application to the university.
An application fee of INR 700 and INR 300 is charged from the general category students and reserved category students respectively.
The application would include admission options: Entrance / Merit / Entrance & Merit Based, applicants must choose Entrance based only.
Select Department of Computer Science in choice of college for admission.
Check all details and submit the form.
