- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination after appearing in the supplementary examination conducted by the Board is also eligible for admission in the current academic year on vacant seats
- Those who have passed the qualifying examination from other than Gujarat Board will be required to obtain PEC (Provisional Eligibility Certificate) from Academic Section of M. K. Bhavnagar University before registration.
- For BBA – Candidates must have English subject as a mandatory subject in 10+2.

- For M.Sc, candidates must secure 40% aggregate marks in the graduation and 50% marks in the related subject.
- The post graduate diplomas are offered in business management, strategic management and information technology.

There are several subject options for candidates who are interested in PhD course. The specializations include commerce, arts, education, science, business administration and computer application.
The minimum eligibility requirement for PhD/M. Phil is passed in master’s degree with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved category).

- Candidates must secure 55% aggregate marks in Master’s degree without grace in the concerned subject.
- The fellow members of ICA/ICWA are eligible for admission in PhD in the subject of economics/commerce/management.
- The entrance test conducted by the university consists of 50% of research methodology and 50% of subject specific topics.
- Applicants exempted from university entrance test if they have passed in UGC-CSIR-Net/JRF/GSET or any other national level test conducted by the authority/institution approve by UGC
- The minimum duration of the PhD program will be 3 years and for M. Phil, course is 2 years.
MK Bhavnagar University Application Process
For applying to the college, the application process has to be completed through online mode. The process to apply is given below:-
- Candidates have to click on the “Online Admission 2023” link on the home page of the university’s official website.
- On opening the link, candidates have to select the course name and enter the mobile number.
- An OTP would be received in the mobile number which has to be submitted on the form.
- An automatic registration form will be opened after successful submission of the OTP.
- Candidates have to fill their personal and educational details.
- Once the form is filled and submitted, a confirmation page will be displayed.
- On confirming the details displayed, the payment page will open.
- The payment can be made through net banking and online payment gateway.
- On successful payment, you will receive the acknowledgement receipt which as to be saved for future reference.
Reservation
The university offers reservation of seats to the following sections: -
- Scheduled Castes: 7%
- Scheduled Tribes: 15%
- Socially and Educationally Backward Classes: 27%
The seats are also reserved for physically disabled candidates and children of defense personnel and ex-serviceman.
