Navsari Agricultural University (NAU) is located in Navsari, Gujarat. It imparts education in agriculture and allied sciences at undergraduate, postgraduate and research level. The university is recognized by UGC and came into existence in the year 2004.
Several colleges have been established under NAU that offer degree and diploma programs in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Veterinary Sciences. At undergraduate level there are courses in B.Tech, B.Sc (H) in various specializations and Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry. In post graduation the University offers degree in MBA in Agribusiness Management, M.Tech, M.Sc, MV.Sc and Ph.D.
- All admissions at UG and PG are conducted under procedures of Agricultural Universities of Gujarat Common Admission.
- For undergraduate courses candidates should have passed class 12th examination in Science stream and must have GUJCET/JEE scores.
- Postgraduate admissions are given on the basis of merit of graduation degree and entrance exam conducted by Agricultural Universities of Gujarat.
- In case of Ph.D, candidates who are about to submit their Master Degree thesis can apply for admissions.
- Admissions to MBA in Agribusiness Management are conducted on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the ASPEE Agribusiness Management Institute.

Navsari Agricultural University UG Admission 2023
Navsari Agricultural University offers plethora of courses in the discipline of agriculture and allied sciences at undergraduate level. Candidates can opt for four year degree course of B.Tech in seven specializations, honours degree courses in Allied Sciences with eight specializations and Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences.
Admission is strictly based on merit of class 12th examination and GUJCET/JEE (Main) scores of the candidates. University displays the merit list with candidates name and college allotted to them. Candidates are then supposed to report for admission in the allotted college within the stipulated time period.
- While determining the merit cut-off 60% weightage is given to candidate’s mark in theory papers (PCB/PCM) and 40% weightage is given to GUJCET/JEE Main scores.

Key Points for Admission:
- 85% admissions are for candidates belonging to the state of Gujarat, remaining 15% admissions are for candidates belonging to other states.
- Other states candidates have to apply through Indian Council Agricultural Research (ICAR).
Navsari Agricultural University PG and Ph.D Admission 2023
NAU offers education in agriculture up to Ph.D level Agriculture and Allied Science. NAU offers Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Veterinary Science and MBA in Agribusiness Management. Candidates are selected through merit of qualifying examination and scores in PG entrance. Also, candidates applying for MBA in Agribusiness Management have to follow separate admission procedure of APSEE Agribusiness Management Institute. MBA admissions are conducted on the basis of entrance test, personal interview and group discussion.

Key Points for Admission:
- Separate applications have to be submitted if a candidate wishes to apply for more than one faculty.
- Merit list of PG courses will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Entrance test and marks obtained at graduation level with 50% weightage to each.
- 25% of the total number of seats is reserved for the candidates nominated by ICAR on the basis of All India Entrance Test, subject to qualifying minimum eligibility requirement.
Navsari Agricultural University Application Process 2023
The application form for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses should be filled online in the prescribed format on the official website of GSAUCA.
- For UG courses, the cost of application form is INR 500 which has to be deposited in the form of Bank Challans of HDFC Bank.
- For PG programs, the cost of application is INR 1000 which has to be deposited as Bank Challan of HDFC Bank or by online transaction.
- The hard copy of filled up form with necessary documents should reach the Registrar, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari within the given time period by hand or by post.
- For MBA the information brochure with application form can be obtained from the Institute after the official announcement of admissions by paying INR 1000 in cash or by sending a demand draft of INR 1100 by post in favor of “Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) ASPEE Agri. Mgmt. Inst.” payable at Navsari.
Reservation: The University provides reservations as per government norms under 85% state quota which is SC - 7%; ST - 15%; SEBC - 27%; PWD - 3%; Ex S - 1%.
