A total of around 7 lacks much less than IITs. 150000rs for per year academics and Rs37500 for hostel. > All types of government scholarships are applicable and there is also fee remission for low-income families.
The fee structure is very high for those who don't have any scholarship but if you have a scholarship and family income less than 5lpa or less than 1lpa, your scholarship depends upon your state of eligibility and your cast.
The fee structure is quite balanced and if you are from a low-income background like a family income of less than a particular amount you can get a scholarship on basis of that either it will be 2/3 or full. Adding to this if you belong to SC, ST then you get full fee remission on tuition fees.
The fee for the first semester is about 1.05 lakhs while for all the other semesters it stands at 82.5 k...I have received no scholarship since there is no assistance offered to general-category students
If your family income is less than 1 lakh in a year then you will get a 200% tuition fee remission or if your family income is less than 5 lakh then you will get 2/rd of the fee dimension. The placements here are quite good, you will many research internship opportunities in the college itself with a good amount of stipend
The fee structure for the general and obc candidates is 16 lacs for the whole course including all the mess fees and hostel fees. For SC/ST candidates the tuition fee is about 35 thousand. There are many scholarships provided by the government if you are eligible for them. Campus placement is overall good you can get an internship on campus and even can apply for the campus too. In the second year, you can do projects and can stipend of about 7 thousand per month.
There is counselling called JOSAA for the admission process in nits. Students who appeared for the jee mains exams conducted by NTA can register for counselling. There are no application fees for the admission process. You can get lots of benefits if you have reserved a category. The overall Admission process is smooth. According to me, there is not nothing to improve further but yes the category benefits are too much and it's not fair for the deserving general candidates
SPBy - Shreya PatelAdmission in this college is through jossa(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) Counselling. for to eligible for this counselling you should appear in jee mains (joint entrance examination) and score above the cutoff. In 2022 the cutoff is 8s around 90percentile. through jee mains, you are eligible for NITs, and IIITs which is a government college so you will get reservation benefits on the basis of both gender and caste. The admission process is quite smooth and I didn't face such difficulties
SsBy - Stuti singhThe cutoff for admission in the civil branch is about 95 percentile in jee mains for the general category...the entrance exam is fairly difficult and it takes a lot of hard work to clear it...the admission process is very streamlined and efficient. I had encountered no difficulties in my admission process
