At postgraduate level, the university offers M.Tech in different specializations for the duration of two years. MRIIRS Ph.D. Admission 2020

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies offers Ph.D. programs under 18 different specializations. The intake capacity varies for different specializations.

In order to get admission in the doctoral programs, candidates must hold a Master's degree with not less than 55% marks in aggregate in the relevant field from a recognized university or a degree approved by Association of Indian Universities.

Admission is done on the basis of a written Ph.D. entrance test, followed by an interview conducted by the university.

Key points:

Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine / any other professional discipline of at least four year duration after 10+2 or higher duration, with either 70% or more marks in aggregate and a minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience will be considered eligible for admission, on the recommendation of BOS and approval by Academic Council provided that such applicants may, in case considered essential, be required to qualify in the course/s specified by the DRC/BOS.
The entrance test consists of two sections and carries a total of 100 marks.
Candidates who have qualified in UGC-NET/SLET/UGC-CSIR NET are exempted from the entrance test.

MRIIRS Reservation Criteria 2020

Relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility criteria shall be given to the candidates belonging from any of the mentioned categories: Women / SC / ST/ BC/ OBC/ North East States (seven)/ Sports Personnel (with authorized participation at National Level; subject to ratification by the committee constituted for the purpose)/ Son/Daughter of Defence Personnel categories and Foreign Nationals for all the programs being offered at the institute.
15% of the total seats in all programs are reserved for the NRIs.
Two seats are reserved for all programs under Supernumerary Quota for Kashmiri Migrants students of Jammu and Kashmir as per directions of UGC. A relaxation of 10% in minimum eligibility criteria shall be given. Domicile requirement may be waived off. Intake capacity of various programs may be increased by 5% if so required.

FAQs

Ques. What programmes does the faculty offer and what is the duration of the programmes under Behavioral and Social Sciences?

Ans. The institute offers three undergraduate, three postgraduate, one postgraduate diploma and two doctoral programmes at the faculty of behavioral and social sciences. The duration for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are three years and two years, respectively.

Ques. Do candidates need to submit the original certificates on the day of admission?

Ans. There is no need to submit original certificates, but the candidate must produce them on the day of admission for their verifications, failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission. Two sets of self-attested copies of the certificates/documents are required to be submitted at the of counselling. Read the admission brochure for details.

Ques. For MBA, how is the admission form to be submitted?

Ans. A student has to submit the form online using the scratch card provided with the admission brochure. Alternatively, they may apply online using a credit or debit card by completing the form. The candidate should then secure two hard copies of the submitted application form; one for self-reference and the other for submitting during counselling.

Ques. Does MRIIRS assist in obtaining educational loans through banks?

Ans. MRIIRS has a tie-up with Punjab National Bank which provides education loans to our students. But the candidate must fulfil the bank requirements to avail themselves of an educational loan. A cell has been created under Dean Students Welfare, MRIIRS to assist students in this regard.

I live in faridabad, and after my 12th my parents wanted me to study near home. This became the very first reason for my selection of manav rachna as a college. Also someone in my relation who runs his own engineering college in Chandigarh told me that in india all private engineering colleges are equal when it comes to the study and degree value, except Bits Pilani. And the faculty of the mechanical department of the college were young, friendly, knowledgeable and very helping in nature. During my 4yrs at the college I was lucky enough to publish a research paper in a scopus indexed journal due to the help of the teachers.
