Remarks :

The management is very helpful and active it's a small community and would be the same in other IITS because the management includes faculties who have been in our place and best knows what's best for us.

Remarks :

Being good in studies I was motivated by my parents and teachers to prepare for IIT. Hence I started my preperation with distance learning program. I had heard of this college because it was recenty opened in my state. It was due to my marks I was getting new IIT'S as it was closer to my home I choose this college. The reviews were also good for this College which helped me in taking this decision.

Ques. Is NIT Trichy better than IIT Mandi?

● Top Answer By Aaditya Hari Nair on 31 Aug 21

Ans. I have friends from both NIT Trichy and IIT Mandi. Based on the conversations I had with them, I will say NIT Trichy is better than IIT Mandi, especially if you consider CSE. The only advantage that IIT Mandi has over NIT Trichy is the IIT tag. Also, the weather of Mandi is better than that of Trichy. Trichy is quite hot.  The placement records, especially for CS at NIT Trichy are far better than that of IIT Mandi. According to the placement highlights of 2020, the placement average for IIT Mandi and NIT Trichy is respectively 85% and 92%.  Also, in terms of campus life, Industry collaboration, etc. NIT Trichy is ahead of IIT Mandi. Read more

Ques. Will I get admission to the IIT in Mandi or Guwahati if I scored a mark of 250 in the JEE Advanced?

● Top Answer By Zakia Parween on 09 Jul 21

Ans. There is a fair chance that you will get admission at IIT Mandi and IIT Guwahati with 259 marks in JEE Advanced. But it also depends on the rank you scored in JEE Advanced as one can't predict your rank and whether you get your desired branch or not. But, and if you could have scored 250 in that paper, you could have been easily under the top 500. So it’s all relative to paper and going by the trends of the last few years, a score of 250 will be enough to get a decent branch at these two institutes. You should go through the official website of the institute to get an idea about the required cutoff.Read more

Ques. Which is a better choice, IIT Mandi Mechanical, IIT Dhanbad Mechanical, or a new IIT like IIT Tirupati Electrical?

● Top Answer By Keshav Jindal on 08 Jul 21

Ans. A few of my friends graduated from IIT Mandi, IIT Dhanbad, and IIT Tirupati. Here are some facts according to their experience- IIT ISM Dhanbad is an old institute established that was primarily a mining institute ISM. IIT Tirupati doesn't have a permanent resident campus itself so it's not a good choice. Now if to choose between Mandi and Dhanbad for the same branch choose Dhanbad as it is an older and well-established campus. IIT Dhanbad Mechanical course is more preferable to the IIT Mandi Mechanical course. Particulars IIT Dhanbad IIT Mandi IIT Tirupati Placement percent 80% 80% 77% Highest salary INR 23 LPA INR 13 LPA INR 42 LPA Average salary INR 10 LPA INR 8 LPA INR 10 LPA However, if the IIT is not on a makeshift campus then you should go for the Electrical branch even if the IIT is new.Read more

Ques. Which is better for an MSc in mathematics, IIT Mandi, NIT Jaipur or SPPU?

● Top Answer By Admin on 08 Jul 21

Ans. Savitribai Phule Pune University is a lot better than the other two colleges in the domain of Pure Sciences. The option for an MSc in Mathematics was introduced in IIT Mandi and NIT Jaipur only a few years back. My brother recently graduated from SPPU and his overall experience was extremely good. It has experienced and helpful members in faculty for Pure Sciences. If you have the option to get admission into SPPU for M.Sc. in Mathematics, you should not let it go. You will be offered better courses here, and the Research scenario is also better here. This will enable you to have a lot of good options for the M.Sc. project required in the course curriculum. IIT Mandi and NIT Jaipur just have a brand name that gets associated with IITs and NITs in India for their advantage. Both of the colleges are only good for courses in Applied Sciences. The chances of getting a job are slightly better at both IIT and NIT as a few prominent Coaching Institutions might recruit you. It is suggested to go for SPPU over IIT Mandi and NIT Jaipur as the University is a lot better for Pure Sciences.Read more

Ques. Which one is better, IIT BHU mechanical vs IIT Mandi, Ropar electrical vs IIT Roorkee civil, considering college life and placements?

● Top Answer By Zakia Parween on 07 Jul 21

Ans. IIT Roorkee Civil Engineering is arguably the best in Asia. It has an impressive placement record for the Civil branch. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 10 LPA. The brand value of IIT Roorkee has its advantages. BHU Mechanical department is considered to be notorious due to the presence of strict professors but at the same time, you will get a lot of opportunities to learn loads of stuff and also would get a very vibrant campus culture for your college life. The average CTC offered at BHU is 8 LPA. If you have inclinations towards the Electrical Engineering domain of engineering then you can go for Ropar. The only disadvantage for the institute is that many companies which offer recruitment opportunities at the Top 7–8 IITs do not offer any such recruitment opportunities in Ropar. I have friends at these institutes, and based on what I heard from them I will say keep Civil Engineering at IIT Roorkee as your first preference.Read more
